My 6yo grandson came up to me this morning and asked (he does it often) “what can I draw for you?”  Today I said, draw me a dirt bike!

I’ve known for a couple years that he has advanced artistic skill at his age, you should see some of his Batman drawings…. But this made me smile, hopefully you too.

In fact here's proof, I drew this a few years ago on scratch paper. Don't ask why I still have it in my office

Dirt bikes are hard to draw, that's serious talent for a 6 y/o. Make sure you tell him how good it is and encourage him a lot, and no doubt he will grow up to be an artist

This is better than 90-95% of the threads on this site in the last few years.

When I was in middle school we had these vocabulary books for English class. They were perfect for a flip book. I would do a stick rider jumping jumps, sometimes doing backflips. I enjoyed those flip books way more than English.

Nice! 👍

Talented and also wise beyond his years - only 6 and he already knows a real dirt bike runs on gas! 😄

I’d wear that as a shirt! Badge logo, upper left chest all day.

That's awesome! Encourage but don't push his talent. I used to lay in front of the TV set when I was his age drawing racecars, motorcycles and robots. I was fortunate enough to turn it into a career of designing t-shirt art for many racers. Dale Earnhardt, Al Unser Jr, Kenny Bernstein and countless others. It evolved into an industry job of graphic design with DeCal Works since '08. It can happen and he can do it.

My step son drew this for me when he was 7 to 9 years old I'm guessing.  He's 31 now, married with a 1 and 4 year old girls of his own. Its mounted on the filing cabinet behind me. I'll never take it down

Love it....   Brings me back to how I used to draw dirt bikes as a kid.

That's incredible, and to only be 6? Very impressive.

And yes, I sure hope the down vote was someone's fat thumb. If not, just wow, man. Seek help.

It’s ok, I do seem to have a serial down voter….  Doesn’t bother me at all.  But to down vote a 6yo kid is a new level of idiocy.
