Why don’t the raise the idle 10-20%? Any time I get a new bike and stall it by being too hard on the brakes or something, I raise the idle and basically never stall the thing again.
It seems like they all let egos get in the way of making the right choices.
Stalling constantly? Spend some time with the auto clutch until it doesn’t hinder you anywhere else. Shoot even if you give up 2% in your lap time the dude has speed to burn but he absolutely needs some crutches to solve the stalling and mistakes.
Bike will behave as shit with high idle. Braking through bumps, corners get all messed up. Not that easy.
Issue is part of his riding style and aggressive clutch setting for starts. More of the first.
Would be interesting to hear if he will or why not, start working on having a finger on the clutch more often.
You see how well that’s worked for max vohland….2 races 2 auto clutches that went out
just turn the idle up a lil

That's due to treating the auto clutch like a regular clutch, you can't be abusing the clutch lever on an auto, it'll fry itself
I just think there’s a way to make this work. With the money they spend to go racing they seem to leave some very simple things out.
On Pulp a few weeks ago Chase said that he rides with his hand around the grip, not covering the clutch.
