Once the main event starts after the first 5 minutes in 250 and 10 minuets in 450 if your in last place your black flagged at the end of that lap until the race is over. By the time the race is done you would end up loosing 5-7 guys. This would make navigating through them much easier. It would also keep a top guy from getting black flagged out of the race in a first turn crash. But if you crash late in the race it would effect you. My argument for that is if you crash that late in the race how many spots are you gonna get back anyways and you would end up 15th instead of 22nd. Guess it would be a cost of doing business if you want to thin the lapper herd.
I think we need some more threads before it’s put to bed.

How about Feld sells bags of rocks at the races to help out with funding and anyone who buys the rocks is allowed to throw them at lappers once they go a lap down
Get Bruce Jenner to chase the lappers around the track - that would speed them up.
its going to end up just 8 guys racing, only the top factory teams and 1 guy on each team. no privateers at all.
