Has anybody heard anything about this Senate Bill in Georgia?  Curious what effect this could have on track lawsuits in the state, if any.  I just read an article where Gov Kemp is pushing it.

I noticed last week while I was at our state capital there was a bill (HB1465 - Arkansas), 'Concerning Dirtbike use on private property: and to establish the liability of an owner of private property.' I thought it was ironic with all the talk of track owners and insurance lately.

I just went and read that bill (HB1465), hope it passes.  That should help tracks stay open, just need the insurance lobbyists and ambulance chasing lawyers to stay out of the fight so it stands a chance.

Below is the text to that bill:

I wonder if this is somehow a product of the Durhamtown incident several years ago.

I think several in the AR, MO, OK, KS, TX track owners have been talking trying to get some stuff passed.  It's not different than horse racing and that stuff all has laws in the books so they can stay open.

How about this:

"Senators rejected an amendment by Islam Parkes to limit insurance rate increases to the rate of inflation".

Of course they did. Now they can limit the payouts by insurance companies in addition to allowing any rate increase the insurance industry wants.

Neither side has our best interests in mind. Only those funding their campaigns...
