Sorta Wrong. Governments provide a social safety net to many people. You pay into one of those with every pay check.

That wasn't a government safety net, it was a part of something much worse that caused far too many small businesses to go under. It also shows the danger of a government stepping in to "help" people by simply printing money.
Perhaps you don't pay taxes, but I do and I want small government and for it to be accountable.
