Do we think DOGE is going to look into the 20 billion going to Space X? Or the 465 million dollar low interest loan from the DOE that started Tesla? Or the billions in subsidies?

My point being let’s not just have blind faith.  This administration needs to be held accountable just like the last one.

Well, Elon tweeted to defund NPR, so the minions started to pile on with what they are fed.   SpaceX gets funding in another ballpark over NPR but this will get downvoted because facts are scary to minions.

You’re suggesting that NPR is fair and balanced?

You’re confusing me with someone who is against auditing government spending.  My point is it needs to be ALL government spending.  Including to the guy who is now in charge of doing the auditing.

I am a big fan of SpaceX. Not as big of a fan of Tesla.  But corporate welfare probably is a bigger driver of spending than all the trans puppet dei dance parties put together.  It all needs to be investigated.

Agreed. I hope ALL of the shady shit comes out. If there’s shady shit Elon and Trump are guilty of then drop the fucking hammer on them. I’m just thankful that someone is finally willing to tell us wtf is going on.

Only flaw in this logic is Trump and Elon are the very people "investigating" the shady shit, so what happens behind closed doors when it's their shady shit that is uncovered? Kinda like having the wolf guard the hen house if you think about it.

I don’t disagree with you at all. I don’t trust them any more than I trust anyone else. I’m just glad something is finally being done. If half of the wasteful spending is stopped it will make a difference. The way things have been going is not sustainable. We can’t keep funding all of these things and expect a different outcome. I’d rather get fucked half the time than be fucked the whole time.

I'm guessing you're referring to me even though I was speaking on funding. Here is what my post was pertaining to though.

Funding (noun): money provided, especially by an organization or government, for a particular purpose.

You’re all in on the “unhinged” thing. Aren’t you? That’s ok…but, still…

Good luck with that! 🤣

I'll make a few predictions for 4 years from now...

1. The average working stiff Trumptard will be no better off, still dealing with inflation, etc.
2. Trump's net worth will increase dramatically
3. Musk's net worth will increase dramatically
4. Many of our allies will align with other countries and distance themselves from the US.
5. Russia will still be at war
6. Trumptards will still have their signs in their yards hoping their orange god can make things better

7. ChurchOfBrap will continue to suffer from chronic TDS all the while enjoying the benefits of Trump’s presidency which will fuel his TDS even more.

One thing I've learned (worked for a government - LA County) never leave a government job voluntarily unless you're laid off or terminated. If that 65,000 were close to retirement I could see it but if your nowhere near retirement you'd be nuts to leave throwing away a government pension and health care

I'm here waiting for at least ONE of the resident libs around here to applaud Trump's putting an end to this wasteful, corrupt, money laundering spending...2+2=4, and, this wasteful spending needs to stop...are both equally true statements...yet...the resident libs can't even bring themselves to admit the truth because they've been so brainwashed to believe that anything Trump does is bad...facepalms for each and every one of them!

If they opted for it, how can they litigate?

The Trumptards hoped their Lord and savior would do things differently, maybe not let the 1% and corporations control the government. Instead, he's taken it to another level by surrounding himself with the richest in the world, and allowed one of the richest (and also not elected) to be his right hand man. Sorry folks, he conned you into thinking he was for the working man.

All I can say is Thank God Polk Salad, er, Word Salad Kamala didn't become President. The leaders of the world would have steam rolled her. I wonder how many of the anti-Trump crowd would have said that they made a big mistake voting for that woman? President Trump needs to keep the pedal to the metal and keep moving forward at break neck speed.

The bad world players were salivating over a Cumala presidency...       We were saved from the brink this time around.

I’m all for cutting cost, but when I do it we start with the largest expenditures, investigate, then move down the ladder.  The entirety of the federal worker payroll makes up less than 5% of the total national budget.  While cuts are great, we are not suffering from an SG&A problem.

I am just hoping this team goes after the real money, after they are done appeasing the base.  Does anyone not think there is way more waste in the defense budget? And I am not lobbying for cutting back on defense, just hoping these audits are going to go past USAID and NPR.

Thank fucking God we spent $10,000,000 to create transgender mice, rats, and monkeys. Trust the science!

Depends on how he eventually pulls the rug out from under them.

I'd assume it'll be some form of breach of contract, but only time will tell. Keep in mind, I'm not saying they'll be successful; just that there will be lawsuits filed over this.

Damn, we're the daycare facilities closed today ??

Toddlers have been running amok in here.

And with the addition of a new blithering idiot.

Personally I don't give a flying rat's ass who the actual person in the white house is.

Just as long as they're in there doing exactly the shit that's happening right now.

Far too long we've had one political party fucking us six ways from Sunday, and the other too fucking scared to do anything about it.

It's about time somebody gets on there and decimates the status quo.

And for those all panty wadded about me posting ths shit he's doing....

Tough shit.

I won't be stopping anytime soon.

So go eat your tofu, and STFU.

I think I saw Vance in an interview some time back where he mentioned how many 5 star generals we have now compared to past times and that each general has a large budget underneath him. Hinting of course that this was an area for potential cuts.

But wouldn't the opt in they took have some clause that states they would not sue?

How should a Trump voter behave in order to show you they are not "blindly following every word and idea"?

I love asking thay question when it comes olup out here in Chicago. Everytime so far bar none, you can turn around every bit of what they say and point out that it's not us doing that but them. They get really mad or really quiet the farther they push it.

As I have said to them before. If the rallies where dem rallies with hundreds or thousands of libs it would be ok. Kinda like they're all OK with the summer of love. The pussy hat parade here in Chicago costed 1.8 million in clean up and repair damages you think any of the pussy hat,  bleeding heart environmentalists volunteered to help clean it for free. Yeah pennies when it comes to our goverment spending but it's still tax money.

I'm with you...as infuriating as some of these expenditures are, and I'm so glad they are being stopped...to your point they are small compared to what we could save on some of the bigger budget items...and they'd BETTER get to those too...The entire financial ship of this country needs a solid once over, and house cleaned big time.  Our country has PLENTY of tax revenue...it just has to cut spending to be less than tax revenue (Ideally like 70-80% of tax revenue...we need a massive budget surplus to get the debt paid back).  If DOGE doesn't get us to that point, I'll be disappointed.
