I’ve always been curious why you never see any sponsored pros wearing the solid black tech 10s. Lots of white etc, but you never really see anyone wear the solid black ones. I think they’d look killer with some kits. Just a thought I’ve always wondered about.
White boots have always been popular. But I own the black tech 10s, and agree they can look sweet,
All black boots look the same on the track, thats why. Theres nothing eye catching or exciting about a pair of black boots. These races are an oppurtunity for these companies to show case their product and they want to be seen, that is priority.
I love anything white. Just a preference. I don't get to wear brand new gear so I don't necessarily buy anything white lol. Remember white AXO gear from '93? I think ACO was in orange and the pants were white. So sick
I think Jett used black at AUS X. The only reason I can come up with for remembering that is that we don't see it much. Like you say, worked well with the kit he used and made a nice change.

I'm a sucker for some black Tech 10s.
The RV2 ones were a good look. I had a pair.
When I was at PU and the other colors were coming out, I ask Gabriel (owner of Alpinestars) why they didn't have riders in any other colors except white. He simply said that the white ones are the most visible. That was a good 10-12 years ago. Since then they have started to showcase a few other colors but you are going to continue to see them in white most of the time because of visibility.
All black helmet, white boots drives me crazy. Silly, but it does.
White Super Victories were awesome.
