Read his other posts in other threads.   Digger gave him specific slide and needles to use.  He got leaner versions than those.  Now he's wondering why the bike is lean.   This is a more likely cause than he developed an air leak between the cases and needs to split them, especially considering we're talking a 1-2 yr old bike here, not some clapped out 20 yr old bike.  When troubleshooting it's important to understand the history and previous steps taken and apply common sense to follow the most likely causes first before resorting to the most unlikely.

3 months later and the vitards have him spinning brass until his dik falls off. Imagine that

It didn’t take more than 20 seconds of watching this guys video to know he’s air leaking but evidently you are way smarter than me.

I'm unfamiliar with the YZ but it seems very similar.

My bike has the keihin 38

His jetting is nowhere near stock. OEM is a 75 pilot and he's on a 48 along with a different needle. Going up two sizes when he's 11 sizes down doesn't eliminate jetting from this equation.

the keihin has a jet block gasket as well.. JD Jetting sells a replacement.  It's a cheap part to replace and eliminate as a possibility.

OP what elevation are you at in CO and did you go richer on the jetting when you went to TX or leave the same?

I’m at 8,500ft. Then is was 165m 45p

In Texas I went 172m 48p.
The reason I’m going so lean on the pilot Is because I have an apex cylinder head and the chart the give you says 48 p for summer and 0 ft.

I don’t feel like the jetting on the pilot would affect the acceleration that much. Because it actually feels good on the bottom end.

is the engine warm in that video you posted? sure looks like it accelerates like shit in the video you posted.  when you rev the bike in neutral and let off throttle do the rpms "hang" as it comes back to idle?

Engine/pipes was steaming when went through water. It doesn’t hang longer than I would expect when you let off the throttle rpm’s staring dropping just takes maybe .75 seconds to return to idle.

That doesn’t sound like a bike with an air leak to me. I’d replace the jet block gasket for one. Especially if you have ever ran ethanol gas in the bike. The jetting on this bike seems like people are all over the place but your pilot does sound on the lean slide.

digger sounds like he has a good handle on these bikes. I’d try his settings.

Your idle does not have to hang for it to be air leaking.
