Not sure Tony and Mike will ever be able to step back and look at their situation but it will be really sad one day when the racing is over when they look back at Mikes wasted talent and wasted opportunities on bikes that other riders would give their gonads up to get a chance to ride. In the end, it really is a shame as I think with the right mental coaching Mike would be a serious MX machine. He needs to have a Ryno or a RC kidnap his ass and smack him into shape.

My son just turned 3 and always knew if I had a boy I would want him to ride. Noone supported my racing as a kid and would love for him to be into it. But seeing how crazy moto-dad's(With Tony being their obvious president or king) can be, it's up to him. How can Tony not step back and look at everything he does and not think he's just a LITTLE overbearing. No doubt his son is successful in large part because of him but let the kid (Or man, geez) be a little independent.

What's sadder, Ben Townley trying to drum up some cheap heat for himself by attacking the Alessis or the usual pack of haters frothing at the mouth to tear down Mike and Tony?

What's funny about almost any Alessi-related drama thread is the lack of people on his side. At the beginning there were a few, but as the antics have continued it seems as if everyone has jumped ship. Barring BobbyM, who's left that can see, from clear thinking a point a view, Team Alessi's acts in a favorable light? This place of all places has yet failed to amaze me with some of the ridiculous cooks that populate this board, yet there is nobody left sticking up for Mikey.

We are on his side. Mike is a great guy and we have had a great relationship with Tony. We also sponsor Ricky James and he was out here in Utah racing trucks and his dad was telling us how cool tony was to them. How many people on here have actually dealt with them? We believe in Mike and still think he will be a champion but even if he never wins one we still will think highly of him and appreciate our friendship.

I am saying I like Mike. I also think that nobody on this board knows the truth and there is always another side to every story.

Do you really need another one?

BT started acting tough and seeing the reaction Grant got by being a jackass last year decided to be completely unoriginal as well as ridiculous.

This isn't the UFC. If Reed threatened Stewart or vice versa you'd see a similar reaction. Not that it matters, I doubt anything will come from this besides some internet mud-slinging.

Really ? Trying to take legal action against a guy who from my understanding sat down with Mike and his father to talk about his on track antics in a civil manner like men. THAT'S sadder ?

P.s. Can we retire the term " Hater " ?

We have enough riders sick and injured as it is, why INTENTIONALLY take out another and be stupid enough to announce it to him beforehand?

Someone forward this mentality to Ben Townley's brain please:

"Hey guys, with all the talk going on the internet, I feel I should comment and give my take on it.

First of all, I have nothing but respect for Jake Weimer and all my fellow racers out there. We're allout there putting our lives on the line and giving it everything we got and sometimes things can get aggressive. I would never intentionally take out another rider or put someones health at risk.

I'm always up for a good battle and can take a hit just the same as I can give one, it's called professional racing. Everyone has their own opinion and I can appreciate that, but if you want to survive and be in the top 10 in a class as stacked as the Lites class this year you have to ride defensive and fight for your position. This is motocross, and I've never known it to be a non-contact sport! When you have 40 riders on the track and all going out there for one common goal, someone is bound to come together at some point and go down. That's why motocross is one of the most exciting and best sports out there.

Was MA really taking out BT at the GP? I looked at the video many times and I don´t think so. It was just racing. Realy worse incidents happen and nobody wines around like BT did. So if BT didn´t complain and wine around, all that shit did not happen.

Ben Townly's threats to Mike Alessi :

displayed unsportsman like conduct.

were detrimental to the sport .

are illegal in the usa ( threat to to bodly harm by using a motorcycle as a weapon )

Pingree as a team manager should be ashamed of his rider and should have put him on notice just like the ama has!

You know, I have always found Alessi to be a really nice kid. He is always polite in interviews, his father is always great. From what I saw of that crash at GH it was Ben's fault for leaving the door open.

They should just race and get on with it, I know if Desalle tries to take out Cairoli then Cairoli just does what he needs to do to pay him back, but he doesn't threaten it, he just does it.

lets hope so. TA is a shit stain on the whole sport. That just doesn't seem to wash out.

Little man syndrome????

Reed did grab Stewart. DV did bitch slapped windam. RV did a sweet popper wheelie into j-law"s face. .......... No lawyers involved.

Mike's talent will always be overshadowed by "staying the course" with his mentally disabled father.
