I'd like to hear some reviews from people that own a 2025 CRF450R.

Your age, riding level and type of tracks you ride on.

How do you like it so far?

How long have you had it?

What do you like about it?

What don't you like?

What are you going to change?

I rode one last week back to back with my 22' CRF450. I'm 47, Vet A/B, 158 lbs and rode it at Thunder Valley. The chassis is definitely more compliant than the 22' and feels "softer" in your hands. It still turns very well and has great Honda quality and ergos. The engine characteristic is more mellow than the 22'. It is smooth and easy to ride. Riding here in Colorado at altitude however, I like the 22' engine better as it is more "exciting".  If I were getting a 25' Honda I would probably plan to buy a pipe and some mapping changes to make the power delivery a bit more exciting. Overall, it's a great bike and I would like to buy one.

Put 12hrs on one. Motor is strong with quick response off the bottom. Not the fastest 450 but not slow by any means. Handling is quick and front feels planted. Def more comfort in the chassis vs the previous gen. Susp is soft but the front more so. 52NM spring on the rear is light if you  are on the heavier side. I am 200+ lbs so I put a heavier rear spring on but front springs weren't available  last I checked. Fork oil  volume is abt 310ml which is pretty low but the new fork springs are I believe about 5mm longer? It's a great bike.

Last gen fork springs will work you just need apx a 20mm long pvc spacer. Factory connection

machines a new clip location in inner fork tube to allow shorter fork spring. I made an aluminum spacer on my lathe to space spring seat lower.

I did not care for the 24 or older bike. But after riding my buddy's a fair amount .I went & bought my own.

Soft suspension so I  Re-valved forks, beefed up mid , base valve. with significant rebound changes & added 1mm bleed to piston. oil at 350ml..53kg springs removed form a 22 KX 450. Spacer mention to allow for this shorter spring usage.  I also had some gold TiN coated lower tubes in the shop I installed for looks. 215# vet A.

Fyi be careful swapping to any older kit stuff ect. The fork tubes & lugs are changed.  The older A kit messed up the chassis feel. The 25 lower fork clamp is taller also = stiffer.

5.8 shock spring from same KX added 1 face shim to shock Compression & rebound stack.

Hated the clutch feel & engagement, so I removed judder spring & swapped out the clutch master cylinder to a KX 450 master. Has wider engagement & not so far from bars. Feels slightly easier to pull, nice mod.

I was given an FMF slip on. minor difference , Given by a buddy form his std edition 25 when his WE arrived as it has yosh stock.   Otherwise stock engine.

I really like it. doesn't make me as tired as I would of thought. been on a 350 since 22.

$9788.00 OTD before tax. I never register so I save the tax.  I had one of the 1st shipment. That's List I think.

If I would of waited most likely would of saved a bit on it.

Tax would add about $675 locally. But that's not the bike sell price. Its for the state to waste.
