Anyone out there have the 25 maps updated on their bike yet? Called the dealer and they found an email from triumph about the upcoming remaps but haven’t received the actual remap technical order to do the update. If you’ve had it done is there anything specific that service department had to look for? Thanks!

The update has been out for weeks now, I updated everyone’s bikes at Mini O’s, updated 2 more last week also. The new map is superior to all of the current maps available. Super easy to update and only takes about 2 minutes to download into the bike. I also just check TPS while I have the bikes plugged in for the sake of it.

Thanks for the response! Is there a specific programming tool that they use for it?

Is that also the case for anyone running the Akro exhaust using any of the downloadable Akro maps?

I am hoping it is readily available for the people that have the wifi module. would be nice to update it on that vs having to drive 2 hours to my closest dealership.

I didn’t even think about that I have the wifi module.. wondering if redownloading the OE factory map is the 25 spec mapping?

I just checked, it still shows the upload date on my end for the map as January 2024 unfortuantly. I wonder if there is a work around or a way to update it.

Wonder if you removed the app then reloaded it? Might have the updated maps?

I was looking at this. Raptor has iits own specific part number for the triumph pegs.. so I’m guessing ktm stuff won’t work. I know the Honda/kawi pegs have a completly different angle since I have both of those in my garage too.

We have 9 hours on ours... shifting is good.. bike has broken in nicely.... my kid says its the best feeling he has had on a bike... added a tooth and 110 tire - pumps gas on old maps... pulled several good starts against mod bikes at a national last weekend, here is a vid.

Do you know if KTM hubs (22 year model) will move over or will I have to strip down the wheelset I built and move the A60 rims over to the Triumph hubs? I want to run a 110 as well and have a 2.15 I could use. We have extra sprockets so +1 will be easy to do as will new maps.

The 22 wheels will bolt right on.

The 2022 KTM's have 20mm front axle and a 25mm rear axle? Thus the KTM wheel spacers are to be used? Doesn't KTM change the wheel spacer only and all the recent year KTM wheels are interchangeable?

Just wanted to update and say I got a letter from triumph after logging in to the technical information site (service manual) which stated the update package that triumph is providing for 24’ model early adopters.. sent that to the dealer and received a text from the advisor that they had received the parts and update instructions etc. dropping off the 4th to have them perform the work.

What was stated in the letter was updated mapping, better waterproof switch blocks, new clutch center and clutch pack, and a fuel tank washer update.

I like that they are standing behind the product.. I’m sure this isn’t going to happen on every single “new model” they sell but since they are breaking into Mx/off-road it’s good to see this company making sure that the end user has the best product available.

So look out for the letter from triumph in the mail I assume, or purchase the technical information site subscription. Should have that for the service manual anyway. I think there is a way to print it out. Just haven’t got to it.

Awesome, that's good to hear. Do you have the link handy for the website?

Triumphtechnicalinformation.com   Pretty straightforward.  Make a login, enter vin, cost $8 a month to keep the subscription. I will eventually print out the manual and cancel that subscription. But it’s easy to bring up on my phone when working on my bike and I need a spec of some sort.

Just called the dealership, they show the recall for the switch but nothing else yet. Told them to let me know once the list updates.

The clutch items are part of an "enhancement pack" but is listed inside the parts list for the recall. Recall only mentions the switches as an actual problem and phrases the clutch part replacement as sort of a free model year upgrade. My dealer ordered the parts last week and I'm waiting on the call to bring my bike in

Yeah you’re going to have to show them the letter or provide your vin # so they can start a case with triumph in order for them to order your parts and do the upgrade. IMG 7086

Have you found any way to print the letter or save it as a PDF or anything? Any time I try to print it, it just prints a blank page with some Triumph watermark.

I need to hound my dealership again to make sure they do the upgrades while they still have my bike. Its already been over a month might as well let them keep it another week or two to fix this stuff. At this point they've had the bike longer than I have.

Some parts aren’t available like the parts the US factory triumph racing team and the European triumph factory racing team run those bikes have parts we can’t buy but lots of companies have the parts what worked for me was calling and emailing all of them and they are usually always open to selling them to you even if they aren’t listed parts! It’s how I got most of mine for my build.

Please post some pictures...I'm still.workimg my way through the thread here.

So I just bought a new tf250x from pandoras in Tenn on Friday and they wouldn’t let me take the bike home until the new recall and upgrade was done.  They said triumph is forcing the updates to be made before the bike leaves the dealership.  They got the parts today and will be delivering my bike Wednesday.

To be honest I just screen shot the letter and emailed it to the service writer. They did the rest. You should have an open recall for the switch block they can pull for your vin either way. Dropped my bike off yesterday.

Thinking about picking up a Triumph sometime at the end of the year, anyone a bigger guy who owns the 250? Currently own a KX450X for desert and a YZ450F for MX. Currently its a back and forth between the KX250 and the TF-250, I love the front wheel feel on my KX450, and after some work on my YZ lol. I heard from Keefer that the Triumph chassis is more comfortable and has more front wheel feel than even the Kawi's, so I'm drawn to it more.

Is this a true thing?

I’m 220 and 6’0 tall.  and it is a very comfortable chassis, don’t mistake that for not responsive though. Great front wheel feel and tracks great. Pulls me around no problem. I have a 23 crf450rwe for comparison.

Thank you, I'm around 250 currently working to drop back to 220 again. Any lower than that I'll be starving myself and taking a folding cot to the gym lmao. I had a 2023 Honda CRF250r and it was an absolute blast. Are there any decent rebates going down on the TF250s?

Got the bike home today with all recalls and map update done.  I will say the clutch pull feels about half of what it was in the store.  Super smooth and shifts through gears like butter.
