Wanted to see it the new 25 plastics would fit a 2024. All but 1 fit perfectly. Only one that does not fit properly is the air box side panel. It will bolt up but there are some gaps and was a little tough to get the bolt to line up. Hope someone makes a retro fit side panel soon.IMG 4386 0IMG 4387 1.JPG?VersionId=Nn5RqNVIMG 4396 0IMG 4397 1

Interesting, I’d asked if this was possible a while back because two things on the new one interest me plastics wise, the air intake and the extra grip on the side panels. From what I’ve seen on the ‘25 Hondas, the airbox side has an extra bit of plastic underneath the panel. Is that why it wasn’t a straight fit?

You planning to keep it like that or do some more adjustments etc before you ride it?

Twigster, the air box is a different shape.

No plans to make any adjustments at this time.

Yeah I know it's different shape, I was just saying there's like a secondary bit of plastic that sits between the airbox and the side panel on one of the review videos I remember seeing. Wondered if that extra panel may have contributed to the bolt being awkward or if it's more the new subframe/airbox shape.

Either way, cool mod and am tempted to give it a go...

Hello, what’s the mod you do on the air box side panel to fit to the 2024 model?

No mods needed on the air box. Just needed to put the side panel on before the shroud.

I did use OEM plastic. No one had aftermarket ones released yet.

Id be curious if a ‘25 airbox can drop in easily. From the fiche it looks like the sub frame mounts are a littl different up front, but otherwise may be doable. It seems like the 25 airbox would give a good performance bump for less than the cost of a twin air power flow kit, and it would make the plastics fit a lot better.

I’ve try on my 2023 Crf and it’s not work very well…

There are several gaps at the back of the air box so the dirt could easily enter through there

And the plastics do not assemble well at the level of the seat, which makes a greater thickness compared to the original plastics, the 2025 press on the air box

This can be reduced by modifying the 2025 plastics in a few places but it would not be perfect so I dropped the idea.

So the ‘25 shrouds and side plates are a direct fit on the TXrace kit?

Ive seen part numbers for a ufo kit that is made to make tje 21-24 look like the 25. And polisport also has a kit in their 2025 catalog.

I almost just skimmed over it thinking it was just 2025 plastic but then noticed it was in the reatyled part numbers . Im not sure how the graphics would be impacted,if they will need their own templates or of the templates for a 2025 will work.

From what ive seen in this thread, it may be a slight modification to just that side that disnt fit well. Ill try and look up individual part numbers and post back what I learn. As of right now, neither kit is in stock at any distributors that ive found. But i was looking the day or a couple days after they anounced the kit.

I just looked up the part numbers for the Polisport kit.  They use all the same plasticas the 2025 except they make the sideplates to fit the 24 better. So chances are its only that one sideplate that they change. Or worst case both.

Also I noticed that the part # for the front and rear fenders ,front #plate and fork guards are all the same on the 2024,2025 and restyled kit.

I'm going to attach an image with the part numbers for the Polisport stuff. along with the part numbers for Polisports OE fit 2025 kit and 22-24 250/21-24450 OEM fit.   You can see whats the same and what is not.

Most of the time they make replacement pieces available for the restyle kits. So You could buy just the shrouds and sideplates if the rest of Your 22-24 CRF250R or 21-24 450 is in good shape already and have the new bodywork.
