Any good eMTB sales? Best deals you know of?

I rode a Trek Rail the other day, wow. I dont need one, but man that was fun. More trails, more faster...

Anyone know of good deals on a good eMTB going on now? Mostly looking for the higher torque models like 70Nm and up.

On the Yamaha's, what happens when the bikes are gone? Will there be parts to buy or once they break you are done forever?

Check YT industries. They aren’t afraid to blow stuff out.

For the Yamaha’s .. my very very adept local bike shop owner said

“Buy a bushing kit, when those wear out that’s gonna be the only thing you can’t find. The bearings we can find substitutes and replace, batteries we can rebuild w new cells, and since Giant uses the motor those components will be around. With that bushing kit you’ll be able to keep that thing going for 20 years.”

Mind you, he is a Trek only dealer. And had no financial interest in this advice.

Was going to say it’s a bike, most components are common. Would think even bushings should be able to be sourced in the future

The Intense Tazer MX carbon pro is $5k and expert is $4k at pretty much any motorcycle shop, they just have to order them in.  These are FAR more advanced bikes than the yamaha's that are super cheap but obviously are a bit more expensive.

Yamaha is a way better deal.  Plus for the average guy they wouldn’t notice the difference between the Yamaha and Tazer.

I bought a Yamaha for my daughter and if I didn’t have a Specialized Levo I wouldn’t have known any better.

The Yamaha if definitely ugly as hell.

I have a deposit on a GasGas ECC6.  Bitchin big bike (I'm 6'3").  I rented an Ari Nebo Peak in Moab and did a hellride up Amasaback to Pothole arch and it was awesome, so am sold on the ebike.  I did the same ride on a Santa Cruz Hightower and was pretty miserable - I am in my late 60s.  Can;t wait to get my GasGas.  Oh - I got a great deal from my local KTM dealer.  Incredible deal really.

The Yamaha cheaper but doesn't mean the tazer is not a killer deal.  The suspension alone on the pro is $3k, not to mention its carbon and all the other parts are higher end.  Maybe you can't tell a difference in the suspension, handling, etc but I can guarantee you many of us can.  Its rad there are so many good deals out there though, I got my first emtb back in 2020 and I've ridden them far more than I've ridden my dirt bike the last few years.

I have heard a rumor from a fairly well-connected bike guy (admittedly from another brand) that Intense may be following in the footsteps of Yamaha and shutting the doors. I'm not sure if it's ebike or everything. I know they had big cutbacks in racing at the start of this year, so that gives his claims some weight.

They definitely made some cut backs and I'm sure are hurting like literally every other bicycle brand but they also do have new products on the way.

Yamaha has also promised full parts and warranty service availability through their dealers for 5 years.

As a Turbo Levo owner, I highly recommend them. They absolutely rip and I wouldn't hesitate grabbing one at those prices.

I would agree. Can't really go wrong with this bike, it is one of the top all around bikes, warranty is great and a ton of local bike shop support.  Some great pricing  on them not too.

Your local dealer can also offer this same pricing and order them in for you.

transition repeater is almost 50% off in the closeout section i have one its a killer bike

Yeah Ive been looking at the Turbo Levos too, super nice bikes. Also, that transition looks awesome!

The Yamaha is still the cheapest option to get started, the 05 looks like a solid bike just concerned if parts will be available, or warranty work for the electronics.

I also have that bike and it’s badass.  Just broke 3000 miles on it with zero issues.

I also have  the mid level (05) Yamaha for my daughter.  Honestly for $2600 it’s really good.

Best way to compare is the Levo is yz450 and the Yamaha ebike is a rmz450.  Both are great but the yz is just better but the price kinda balances them out.

I was told by the local Specialized shop not to buy the current Levo because the price is going to fallout soon.  Supposedly the next Gen model is ready to go and is going to be badass  but Specialized is buried in inventory of the current Levo.
