I'm needing to put a new clutch in my CR250 and have always been a fan of Barnett clutch kits, but have heard that Hinson is better. Have also heard that Honda OEM clutch fiber plates are hard to beat too. Any opinions on what is best?

You can't beat a Hinson clutch basket and hub.

Hinson makes a great Basket. I stick with OEM fibers.

Not sure what Barnett clutch fiber plates are made of but I have ruined a bunch of clutch hubs and pressure plates on several of my bikes with them. Seem to be highly abrasive against the aluminum components. Fresh oil every ride and it always comes out looking trashed. Switching back to stock fibers in one of them this week, betting I'll be replacing hub and pressure plate again.

I've used OEM and EBC clutch kits and have never had any issues with either
