How about a little more info?

As much as I would love to have a track back in OC, it hasn't gone very well for a long time. Especially with the Irvine Company having such control over Orange County

Unfortunately, that idea was rejected by Tustin 5 years ago. The city recently completed the requirements to have them torn down. That would have been incredible for everybody, including the city of Tustin!

As much as I would love to have a track back in OC, it hasn't gone very well for a long time. Especially with the Irvine Company having such control over Orange County
mxjef.... Our current group has worked on this for several years and fully understands how difficult this has been to accomplish. However, we are completely committed to fighting the fight until we have it! We have 2 locations, including 1 in Chino, that are that are being pursued.

We are considering opening up our Group to others that are dedicated mx enthusiasts that qualify to be invested Partners in this venture; whether it be be a financial investment, or bartering their services of grading / installing the track, or a lawyer that helps with the legal aspects, etc.,

We will have a track in O.C. .... sooner with help.... or later without.... obviously BACKFIRE will remain instituionalized and not be involved.

We've tried in OC as well, but I will say there is empty land all over OC, not just Irvine, it's a matter of turning over every single rock you can think of, look in places most people wouldn't even think of, but also look around Long Beach area, not OC but damn near close enough !!

Don't you think it would help if he gave a little more info then what he did ?

The post does look like a scam , Normally legitimate business has some contact info addresses and names not just an anonymous email address.

You all know as well as I do that had he come on here with more info and a plan every know it all that would never have anything to do with it would Monday morning quarterback him. Some a*hole would probably have called him out as a spammer. The negativity around here probably forced this guy to do it this way to weed out all the BS he would get from posting his goups' plan.



If your interested in it, hit him with an email!



It isn't like he is asking for CC number and needs you to stash 10 million african rubies in your bank account that the prince of Zaire miraculously didn't know he had and just needs a safe place to keep it...

Maybe if you email him, like his plan and are truly interested, he will forward you the contacts you need.

Why not build an indoor track like they do back east? OC has a bunch of empty warehouses that would do the job. When I first moved out here to CA back in 1990 their was a economic downturn with plenty of empty commercial space, said to myself then, "Wish I had the cheese to build a track in one of these buildings!"
Would be nice, climate controlled even.
