The math shows the EU has provided more money than the US, money Ukraine has been used to buy military equipment.

Did you see what they named as the capital of the free and independent nation that they’ve demanded? 🤣

Hamas is over after Jan 20th.

Why would you post a chart from over a year ago?

Us aid is over $174 billion.

If we polled your students would they be able to tell us who your preferred candidate was?

Let's just pretend we were in the past where your graph is for giggles. Let's say you give 1 billion. Well, then you gave 1 billion. But our politicians are crooked. So let's say they give a patriot missile battery (can we agree that's military equipment?) Well that Patriot missile battery cost us $1 billion dollars. On paper, they don't assign a $1 billion value. They assign a "depriciated" value. So let's say that was purchased that during the George Bush time, let's say 2006? A 20 year depreciation schedule, and they can claim they only sent a $50 million value that shows up on your chart as $50,000,000.  But in reality, it's a $billion system. So your chart showing $50ish billion that we sent, it's real value (that we have to pay to replace that stuff) is probably closer to 600 billion dollars.

My daughter was on a zoom work call this morning.

The VP was upset about the results of the election and started asking the other attendees who they voted for which of course resulted in some very uncomfortable replies.

She ran out of steam before she asked my daughter.

Inappropriate but not against the law.

Health Care for all...that was one of the promises of Obama-care: how did that work out? I'm paying MORE for LESS and I'm about to enter a totally private program in order to get legit coverage.

I agree, on some level, that a health system that takes care of everyone would be nice; but, how are we going to pay for it?

I have never mentioned my political affiliation but we are in Southern California and they have been taught how statistics work. They would make their best guess and choose Harris because more adults here voted for Harris.

But did you teach them the truth? That they voted for someone they didn't actually vote for? It was a candidate installed by the elites because the elites decided the candidate the people voted to run would lose? And that's why you are injecting politics. Because you lead them with only the "part" of the story you want them to believe. To come to their own answer.

I think there show be cameras in the each classroom,  streaming to a website where parents can login and watch what is going on anytime a class is in session.  Not something to the public that would be a bandwidth hog,  but a parent-only livestream.

That would clean up any and all indoctrination nonsense ANY teacher might attempt.  Left or Right.   No different than the bodycams on a cop.   If you have nothing to hide about your 'unbiased' curriculum,  put it on a website for parents to audit.   I would gladly pay my fair share of whatever bill that came up to be.

This isn’t necessarily pointed at you lungbutter, it was just the most convenient post to quote

I know it’s fun to hate on teachers and say they’re indoctrinating kids, but my wife and I have a great relationship with our kids schools and their teachers

Some of our most beloved teachers have views that are 100% the opposite of ours but I do not fear them instilling their political views onto my kids. Most of the teachers I would not be able to guess their political leanings if we didn’t have a personal relationship with them.

A million years ago CA had something on the ballot called Prop 13. It was to keep property taxes in check. I remember my teachers (I was in HS at the time) telling us we have to convince our parents to vote against it to protect school funding.

You'll never convince me that it doesn't still happen in the school system.

I'm curious which industry your daughter works in. I'm not asking for the name of the company. Answer if you feel comfortable.

I could see it being more prevalent in California

For the most part, teachers political leanings in TX likely won’t align with the children’s parents

And it would be the opposite in CA, teachers and parents would have the same viewpoints

Obviously talking large scale here and not everyone

So, I could see how CA teachers would be more likely to talk politics than a TX teacher

We’re also comparing elementary school and high school, so I’d imagine teachers are more open as kids get older

Just curious. When I read Tunedlengths post i turned to my wife, who works for a food processer and asked, Did any of your bosses at work demand to know who you voted for? She answered, "Why would they do that?"

I used to be in agriculture. I couldn't imagine showing up at my job at the John Deere dealership, fertilizer plant, farm and ranch store, grain silo etc., and having my boss ask me who i voted for.

You hear how "Big Tech" is very liberal, main stream media of course. Maybe jobs like that they do this. Are ad agencies liberal? Womens retail? Law firms?

What are you on about? Your speaking in half tongue here.  The US has been using proxy wars in Ukraine since 2014 funding weapons, banks, bases, politicians you name it. Just because you have a graph stating something does not mean it is accurate more specifically coming from the BBC. That little stat your showing is a 1/4 of what has happened and what the US has supplied. Because after all, the CIA is on and off the ledger for government expenditures. Here is how you will know the truth.... How quick the war ends when Orange man gets in office and how Ukraine establishes themselves afterwords. Right now they are nothing more than a puppet of the US

If you listened to an outtake from her, I got my ass kicked, speech.

She made reference to going back home and using the "law" to disrupt the new administration.

They're not going to let their shellacking go.

They fail to understand that their task is to represent "US".

And "US" told her, and her ilk to take a long walk, off of a short pier.

We don't need them sniveling around a jobsite they've been fired off of.

Ironic, Trump's already stabilizing the Middle East and hasn't even been sworn in! He's done more in one day than Biden/Harris have done in 4 years.

Listening to BBC News Radio 4 here in the UK this morning, which is our supposedly most trusted station, the interviewer asked a lady , who was obviously a black lady, who she voted for , and was shocked for the woman to reply 'Donald Trump'.

There was a short pause , and the interviewer said ' did you not want to support someone who could have been the first black woman President'... to get the reply ' but she isnt black'.

And then she went on to say that the economy was broken, and the Democrats had no plan to fix it.

Epic .

Fake news....everyone knows DT is racist and so are his supporters.  🤣

But seriously....read what the interviewer said again... "did you not want to support someone who could have been the first black woman President".

That's all the qualifications required for the madness that is the left.

I hope one day we do have a black woman as President....a badass qualified/accomplished conservative one. 😍

She's not black... more like Pacific Islander or Native American... but Tulsi Gabbard would get my vote.
