Been looking at picking up another 24 YZ450.  Had a great deal lined up earlier this week...went to pick it up today and found out that rebates went up Nov 1st.  I am not going to throw around numbers, but it was a thousand dollars less than I expected to pay (and I expected a good deal)

Go get yourself a banger of a bike and hold on!

What OTD prices are you seeing?  That would determine whether or not it is a good day to grab one or not.

There are deals to be had. Just picked up a 24 KX450 for $6,999 + tax. Haven’t had a Kawasaki since 2014, excited to try this one out.

A little under 9K for 50th Anniversary.  Real close to $8500 for blue.

I finally sold a bike I've been sitting in for months.

Big stash of cash burning a hole in my pocket, called up a local dealer that has sold me two bikes. The my had multiple yz250s on website,  called up and don't know what guy I spoke to, he told me they only had one, it just sold and then he essentially hung up, lol.

Didn't even try to sell anything.  Never understand some things in life.  I'll take this as a message that a nice low hour yz250 will manifest in my universe eventually lol

Have my eye on a couple on facebook marketplace. All have been on there for a few weeks and just got alerts that they lowered the price on 2 out of 3 that I'm considering. I don't think we need to be in a rush

Exactly. I can wait.

Someone was asking 6000 for a 2023. Offered them 5000 cash in hand in 2 hours and they weren't interested.

There are plenty of low ballers out there, but not so many of them have cash in hand like me 😀

Wouldn’t shock me if they contact you and accept your offer.

Quite a difference from a few years ago when stealers were sticking in everyone's ass with their mark ups...

I have really struggled with this for the last 5 years.  My shop was a franchise dealer for Yamaha/Suzuki/Arctic Cat from 2001-2012...so I have been on both sides...but I have such a hard time with the current mentality of, "Here it is, here is the price, if you want it come get it."

I remember when I would have guys calling twice a week to see what it would take to get me to buy a bike...then COVID hit and the whole scene changed overnight.  I think it will take a long time to teach sales reps the old school way of courting a customer.

It wasn't even that,  it was i dont think we have what I thought you said, so I won't try and sell anything and I'll hang up. Lol.

The economy is in the shitter,  are people waiting on depreciating items to go up in value?
