Congrats to the lad but my question is what happened to the kid that beat him at Matterley, Jamie Keith? I heard Malin say there was another race after the MXoN’s to decide who got the ride, did Townley win that?
No, race is on November 11-14
"Seventeen standout riders from the 2024 YZ bLU cRU FIM Europe Cup have earned their place in the prestigious bLU cRU Masterclass, set to take place from November 11-14 at the stunning MC des Costieres circuit in Beauvoisin, France.

The YZ125 winner will secure a place on a Yamaha-supported team, competing on a GYTR-kitted YZ125 in the 2025 EMX125 Championship."

"Yamaha Motor Europe and the MJC Yamaha Official EMX125 team are thrilled to reveal their powerhouse four-rider line-up for the 2025 EMX125 Championship. The team will retain its talented trio of riders—Dutch sensation Dani Heitink, French rising star Mano Faure, and Belgian standout Jarne Bervoets—while also welcoming the reigning Junior Motocross 85cc World Champion, Levi Townley, from New Zealand."

Maybe there is another team?
Maybe Townley brings funding, who knows. Both are obviously talented. I'm sure Keith will end up somewhere. With Noel Zanocz moving on from Fantic there's a spot there that needs filling.
So if Townley already has a ride, that puts Jamie Keith in with a good shot.
Hopefully it will be a decent race , and not a mudder.
Looking forward to see how he goes in EMX full time, and the MX-GB Series, in the 125 class.
Awesome news for Levi!

Townley is a lot younger than Jamie Keith and had just gone on to a 125 , it’s a no brainer really from a teams prospective
I remember when BT was second pick for the Phase Suzuki 125 ride back in the day but Luke Burkett who was first pic, never took the ride for whatever reason!
I highly doubt the Townley’s brought the ride, that is not how they would roll!
Anyway congrats to Levi! Awesome to see another young kiwi head to Europe!!
Great to see history repeat
I remember going to Broadford GP and seeing his bike in the tent. Looked so privateer! Was impressed with the seat cover and shroud graphics lining up so well haha !!
