There's a 1974 Suzuki TM250 for sale locally. It's on Ebay but I can't get the link to post. The seller says it's 95% original and looks to be in great shape.

What price range should the bike go for?

I don't remember the 250's that much. Everyone knows the reputation of the 400. Was the 250 a good bike for the era? I probably wouldn't ride it more than once or twice a year anyway.

Thanks

My dad had a TM 185 that was just junk, he could not keep pistons from breaking even at low rpm,s. I think it was a 72 .

Average bike for it's day. YZ-A model, Elsinore, Husqvarna CR, were tough to beat on a TM250. If the bike has had the CCI (oil injector) disconnected and is running pre-mix, beware. The LH main bearing was pressure fed from the injector. Going to pre-mix without modifying the LH case will starve the LH main bearing for oil, and failure is just a matter of time.

Are you sure it wasn't a TS or TC?
