I know this is a forum where we usually like to discuss all things moto but can we stop making this guys platform larger? 

Also, should I post this on a VPN so he can’t track me down?

If the moto industry wants him to go away they could start reporting on more interesting topics to make Cooksey irrelevant.

How did Cooksey get the scoop on Roczen racing a 250? Forkner to Triumph?   any others?

He finds out the same way we do. It’s not breaking news when he is just repeating rumors and one of them ends up being true. With all the information he is “right” about, he spits out twice as much misinformation coupled with his irrational opinionated two cents. This isn’t journalism, it’s a guy talking into a camera in his garage.

The guy definitely sits at home getting a hard on thinking about wearing Coombs’ skin as a cape.

He’s a little out there but every sport needs some sort of joker media guy, great entertainment. 

The problem is he isn’t in on the joke he is the joke.  He’s ’exposing’ the industry to us 😂

I hope that somebody close to him gets him the help he seems to need.   It's crazy he has such a vendetta against just about anybody that runs a race.  I don't want to watch his stuff or even click on it to read he comments anymore. I don't want to encourage him , and have him think the clicks are supporting his conspiracy that people are out to get him.  I don't want to see anybody fail, but I think that in this case it might be a good reality check for his channel to not get views.

I heard he's been applying for a vendors license at the races to sell his Cooksey gear, but so far his application has been rejected LOL.  It might have been the "Davey Sucks" and "We need a riders union!" t-shirts.

That's why I am honesty starting to feel bad for him.   I was seeing people posting comments trying to get him to do stuff that would get him in more trouble and a lot of it just seemed like they were there to watch the meltdown.  Maybe I'm wrong and the guy is a great actor that is playing it all up and just doing it for the views.  

I'm assuming his only revenue comes from YouTube? At this point all he has, is to double down on the wild horseshit. He's gone too far with it to turn back. Hopper used to be grouped in with him and he wisely took his channel in a different direction and distanced himself from Cooksey. He can't be making a lot from YT. Thousands of views don't make you money. You need millions. He's probably pretty desperate. It's kinda sad but he made his bed

He's doing, what we see in "the normal world" too. Doesn't it feel familiar all the things he does: Discredit the "mainstream" media, launch his own personal attacks, sordid conspiracy theories and “it could have been true” stories. This combined with a pinch of real news. He copies the success formula of lunatics like Alex Jones and others who do politics and whose names we are therefore not allowed to mention.

Where real mainstream conspiracy thinkers bash about “Davos”, “Sandy Hook” “Pizza-gate”, “Dog & cat eating Haitians”, “Qanon”, “The great reset”, and so on. And where many believe it too. We laugh at someone who has the same success formula of lies, conspiracy theories and other trash on our sport on Youtube.

I think he's a part time realtor too, he's mentioned that a few times in his videos.   If you look him up on socialblade.com, he could be making close to $30K on youtube by doing his sensationalistic click bait videos, plus he seems to be pushing people to him a couple bucks a month as members, and he also has some sponsers.  

And yes, I agree that there's no turning back really and he will probably lean into this TMZ-like image that he's developed.  You'll never see him in the pits interviewing riders, I think he's generally looked at as a joke by most of the riders, teams, and other moto media.  But if he keeps doing what he's doing, he could make halfway descent money and it's better than digging ditches.  The only rub would be if he starts getting sued by people when he says crazy stuff about them on a relatively poopular youtube channel.  I'm surprised RC hasn't went after him for slander LOL.

Yep, he's probably studied guys like Tim Pool, Russel Brand, etc.   I call these guys shit stirrer influencers.  Their whole goal is to target a group of people with their content, and just rile them up with crazy stories, theories, fake news, etc.   And YouTube rewards this if you get a lot of people commenting, which is exactly what that type of content does.       YouTube doesn't view any of this as a problem, since it's great for their ad revenue, so guys like Cooksey will just ride that wave, and as long as there are people dumb enough to buy into it, subscribe, comment, etc it's sadly a successful business model.

I walked right by him at A1 this past year.  I didn't say anything to him and he didn't say anything to me.  I don't watch his content (other than clicking on the occasional vital thread about him).  It seems if you don't actively go out of your way to engage him or watch his content you don't have to be bothered by him.  

Defended him in the past. Stopped watching him once he insinuate threats of violence.  

Believe it or not, but he's got some solid connections. I don't know who he knows, but he knows people in the pits that have info. 

The big one would be if he does anything to violate YouTube terms of service. Once they ban your channel, that's it. You rarely get it back and you can't just start a new one. They consider is ban evasion.
