Really good and very important. On a side note I saw a MAGA-Dukes of Hazzard meme on youtube, super funny!

Interestingly,  Connor Boyack is my literal next door neighbor and friend.  We agree on most things politically, disagree on some…but he’s legit probably the most intelligent person I know…

Back over in N.C. this weekend, bringing supplies.

Most everyone in the immediate area has internet, thanks to Elon and his starlink network.

For such a brilliant guy, I'm never impressed with his speeches/interviews.   He's almost like a little kid.

I wonder how long until Elon is indicted by out government for some made up BS because of his recent stances.

That or a timely sexual complaint is coming I'm sure.

His delivery style is awkward but you can't deny the guy has brains and brawn to accomplish what he has.

He probably always has to choose his words wisely every single time he speaks publicly. There's alot of people lookin to discredit him anyway they can.

I thought he was awesome, as was TRUMP and the entire rally!  Elon delivered a very important message about this election that everyone should hear.

I think that the worship of Musk is a great example of what is most wrong with our political climate today. It’s no longer about principles, it’s about whether or not someone hates the same people as you do.

Fair, but you have to acknowledge the hate he has from the left that he never got  from the right when he was the left’s darling.

Hating people? Hmmm, if you listened to his speech you would have heard that he has strong disdain for certain policies, not people. More particularly concerning infringements on the 1st amendment and election integrity.

The rhetoric of these socialist-globalists have driven 2 people now to try and assassinate their political opponent. I'm getting pretty dang tired of seeing the "hate" label thrown around by these same people.

Fervency of support for humans these days is waaaaaay beyond what it should be, to the point that the first commandment is making an alarm sound somewhere. And the fervency of support for Musk is right there with Black Friday shoppers where money is God-like. In normal times, it's just, yeah, he's a cool and interesting weirdo that's done really well for himself making neat stuff. That's it, no biggie. Instead, he's achieved infallible deity status and has the ear of hundreds of millions of people and might have enough wealth to kick off a recession.

True, but again that highlights another issue with our political climate.

The vast majority of the electorate is tricked into believing that it a single dimensional system.

You really never fail to use hyperbole to try and make your "point" and project you are above everyone else.  Just like the "point" you made in your second sentence, after dropping the "worship" moniker. Nice try.

worship -

noun

the feeling or expression of reverence and adoration for a deity.

I’ve never claimed to be ‘above’ anyone, but I’m also not responsible for your insecurities when the truth gets uncomfortable……

I don't worship anybody.

Having a skeptical nature helps me to navigate the bullshit of politics and pop culture.

I think he's confusing "worship" with people getting excited about a silicon-valley big shot, that ain't censoring them, gas lighting them, or fraudulently funneling their investment cash into the democratic party Sam Bankman-Fried style.

I was a huge fan of Elons when he was a raging lefty.

Still a huge fan now that he isn't.

Elon has developed  so many remarkable innovations that simply calling them "neat" shows that you may not be paying much attention to the subject.

Byke I can usually appreciate your thoughtful  take on things but from a technical view on this subject not so much.

How would Musk kick off a recession with his wealth ?

That pretty much sums up liberal logic (an obvious oxymoron).   Buy an electric car because lefties say it was a good idea,  and once the former lefty manufacturer comes to his senses, alluva sudden the 'good idea' you were so excited about is no longer a good idea?

A bumper sticker from liberal who actually believes in their own cause would say,   "I still believe in Telsa cars despite the views of the companies owner...."
