Yeah, the video was lagging (not buffering, but stuttering), the audio was shit, and the picture quality was bad.

They showed Alessi's pic for Dungey, and Jessica Patterson's pic for Metcalf!

Besides I didn't know Townley and Reed were females and Dungey doesn't look his age what they should really improve is their camera angle. Almost every camera is placed in a horrible spot, action looks flat and ... where is the crowd?

I'm guessing the heat drove away the less hardcore fans.

Its funny that they have the same sound issues as last week...at least they patched in audio from the tower.

There is NO excuse for the live timing to STILL be as horrible it is after all of these years. It didn't work for me, at least for 90% of the race. The broadcast is at least a complicated operation...live timing isn't complicated and it doesn't need lots of bandwidth. NO EXCUSE!

Are you surprised? They ought to just copy the MXGP or MotoGP format as they are perfect (web-wise at least). You'd never see this kind of stuff on the MotoGP site. Makes the AMA nationals look super bush league, almost like a Canadian series.

I thought that with mr. "mx is in good hands" not attending the event things improved...actually they did, there is a sort of coverage this week. It'll get better after another humble apology and sponsors kicking his ass after the race.

And apparently Reed's switched back to the Suzuki for this race (on live timing).

I saw everybody doing the chat thing complaining about the video. I was getting smooth video, and audio. But the video very seldom matched what the announcers talked about. I suspect that they aren't actually doing an organized production for the internet feed. Somebody just has the cameras running and some guys are announcing, but nobody is running the show.
