No sure what happened to John short but he was dead last on lap 1, came from the back into the money. Good ride!

Edit: Sounds like John went down with another rider on lap one. He was waaaaaayyyyy back so good on him for a strong ride!

Racing was great. Henry Miller put it to these guys in the second moto. John Short and Ryder Floyd had a hell of a battle for a few laps.

But on top of that the whole weekend was a great time. The fireworks show was legit. Live music. And we got a full weekend of racing in. The Moe family has really done a great job with this race.

Lots of talk about the new owners angling for a pro national in the near future. They purchased an additional 200 for expansion and parking per the rumors this weekend.

Sick facility and pro challenge is one of our favorite events each year. The way the track is though, spectating would be hard I think for a National, very little infield spectating. They'd have to get rid of all parking around the track and make that where spectators watch.  And like with any track I always get nervous when each year it seems like neighborhoods get closer and closer. Hope the track continues to have success and my kid can race there for many years!

Jared Lesher 7-7 he looked great at Daytona last yr on the yz250.  Only 20 riders 450a is usually the bigger class with 34+.   A lot of riders from the east and none from Tx. That’s odd.  Freestone has a pro am 10-27 is that a good track ?

Oh never mind it’s Pleasure Valley in Pa.  Thx for posting. I,ve been checking out the big Pa. Fall races the last 4 yrs.  Additional 125 classes like 35+ 125 and 125 all star with big gates.  Any other big 2-st races this yr  ?

I like how we got people saying racing past 30 or 40 as an expert is to old.  Brownie NEVER got his Memo LOL

Is this not insane to other people as it is to me for Brown to still be doing the damn thing... Hes battling FAST FAST kids that attend the Professional races these days, and on an off weekend...old brownie comes alive!

It does kinda show though however, what the actual "Grind" of Pro racing is, IF you race Supercross and Motocross.  If you only race supercross as a privateer i understand it, but youre not feeling that real grind feel!   But instead, you can race at a high EXPERT level, making money around the country and never technically become a Pro with your Pro AMA License, and just race all these Local Expert races and not be smoked out by 29-33 years old.

Yeah Brown is a Animal and Extremely talented racer , etc.  that was just a tune up race for the muddy creek 2-st shoot out and pro am coming up.  Big money races r in the fall.  Quite a few left then November Glen Helen World Vet.  Anyone know the layout structure for The Pasha 125 Pro 50+ ?  The April 2-st GH had it back to 10th .  Mike Brown 1989 on a slow kx125.  Did you catch Mike at Fox Hills Vet Des Nations ?  In the big 250, 500 class he lead and almost won. On the 89 cr125 he destroyed everyone, soo fast on that bike.  He knows if he raced that bike in 89 everything would’ve been different.  89 was the biggest change in speed in Mx.  the 1st yr of all out spiriting .  IMG 9242 2.jpeg?VersionId=fSNjIa5CT6.IMG 9241 1
