Just listened to the show after hangtown today. I couldn´t help to laugh my ass off at the GP predictions from Matthes and even dumb ass Kenny Watson who doesn´t even know or have heard about Ken De Dycker, and he doesn´t follow the nationals. Ryan Hughes, top 5-10ish. WTF. Like Lindsey said, what do you guys smoke in that studio?!?!?
Hey Matthes, next time you need tough guys on your show, bring someone who follows the sport, and knows stuff besides off-track incidents. Paul Lindsey was pretty close on his analysis before both Hangtown AND Glen Helen. Watson - not som much.... Your show lost out when Lindsey left, because that guy really knows this sport! And please get rid of the usual callers. "Has-been" and other attention whores ruin the show. I´d say less then 50% are good callers, the rest are crap! It´s a good show, but as a fan of the sport I´d much rather listen to Lindsey, than Jersey Shore Watson.

I was about to stop listening to the show until Watson showed up and saved the day. I have always loved listening to matthes's podcast and thought the motoshow was going to be awesome. When I heard Lindsey stating everything as factual before it even happened I had enough. Watson made me laugh and stayed on to listen.

Like we need another guy with little to no personality claiming his bench racing opinions as factual data. IMO thats all Lindsey ever did. That and ask trivia questions that he didn't even know the answer to.

Listeners, keep in mind, the show takes call in's. There were 2 or 3 callers this week, Guiseppe being one. Not every episode of Saturday Night Live is a homerun, there are ups and downs.
Maybe the holiday turned people away, who knows and yes, there will be no more of Kenny eating on the mic. He has issues with the mic and he's had a few to try out.
It wasn't totally anti euro as you say, it's all outdoors, he's not a fan of AMA either, so at least he is not playing favorites. Call in and chat with him or anyone, don't be scared
I'm disappointed that we don't get more callers because there is a lot of people listening and so you would think if even 10% of those people called, we'd have lit up lines. Oh well, most of the calls are pretty good and I don't mind Has-Been calling in all the time. We missed him on Monday.
I have to talk to Izer about this but listenership really seems to depend on the guests we have. Tony Alessi, Reed, RV were our best shows yet and this Mondays was one of our worst (O'Mara and Kyle Lewis). I know I see a big jump in the podcast numbers with the "name" guests which bums me out a bit because some of the lesser name guys (or retired dudes) have been the best shows. (Rollerball, Taylor, Glover, Stanton)
Anyways thanks for the criticism, the praise and all that. We'll find a happy place where the show consistently works week in and week out. I'm not 100% satisfied with everything on the show and we're working on it all the time.
Ask Watson if he has any Al Borda stories.
Get some more Old school guys on.

Watson's stories never get old. Those that don't "get it" probably weren't around back when moto was "Core" instead of "Corporate"
How can anyone not like an Old school story?
O'Show was a great guest and it was good to hear from Kyle Lewis as well, i did not know how Kenny had got into Mechanicing, and hearing the history is cool,

Remember the young kid that called in who said tht Ryan Morias was going to be on a 450 at Daytona? And Watson comes back with "Ill bet you 500 dollars that wont happen. I have been in this business 15 years I know what Im talking about."
The kid wasn't even confronting him and all his great knowledge he aquired by sucking ass for the past 15 years in the pits.Why even go there? The H and H team must their hands full with that kind of management

I have listened to other podcasts where the hosts are alot more humble.

We know you were Ferrys Mechanic, and drove around in a box van splitting cases every week.
Also, I don´t care what guests are on, I´ll listen to it regardless, I just wish it would get a little more core mx at times. Like when Lindsey was trying to make a point and have a good discussion, it was interrupted with bs about Ryan Hughes and how cool and fast he is, and "back in the days" type of stuff. And that´s fine, but please let the guests finish and discuss whatever they bring up.
Also, Watson needs to lose that lame 1995ish "I´ve got pink hair and don´t give a fuck" mentality that Deegan had way back in the day. If he says something constructive, I´ll listen, but too much BS and hipness and I´ll stop listening till a new topic comes up. He must be too old for that by now
i flipped on my opinion of watson too, he cracks me up! yeah he's arrogant and a bit of a knob but his stories are awesome and the dude knows everyone and a good story about them
funny thing was i told a mate that i thought he was cool and he didn't believe me.... until he gave it a listen one day and he flipped too

I think my boss at work wants to speak to you. He reckons my productivity goes down 25 percent when i listen to the podcasts. What a douche, if only he new, my productivity actually went down to zero!

I started to lose interest after the first few episodes listening to Lindsey's "I did that deal". He might be knowledgable but he's just too boring for radio.
