You would think Mikey would say something about the Townley tangle.. Maybe a little statement like I wish it wouldn't of happened or it was unfortunate...

That tangle with Townley was no big deal. He touched him just slightly and Townley had issues in that corner before. His balance wasn't right.

Another bitter yank!
Bitter? lol I'm actually kinda glad his goofy ass beat Alessi. I was kinda hoping Townley would run them both down, but he tangled with our Navey Seal.

What a great race, hopefully we can have a re-run in the 2nd Moto (with Townley on both wheels).

And this should hopefully put an end to the ever ongoing "bash the GP's and their riders". To bad Reedy opted to not ride this race, maybe he remembered the last MXdN's to well... Wink

hope Townley sorts his shit out....he was looking really good. maybe not enough to beat Cairoli but enough to hit the podium.

if he can put it together, I think he'll win some motos this season.

Fastest lap time went to Alessi. So FINALLY we can put to rest the incessant bickering over who is faster, U.S. or Euros...Wink

Cant believe you guys are moaning about Alessi, he got second and gave all he's got in a race that doesn't many anything to him.

If he was from any other country he would be a hero.

How about we not turn this thread into another bitchfest, we have met our quota on those in the weeks leading up to this event.

Sit back and ENJOY the racing!

Right on! Really enjoying this coverage. I got Roczen and BT101 penciled in for Moto 2 wins.

The real issue was Max running them both down at the end, Tony played with the 800 too much and took his eye off the ball, 2nd moto will separate the men from the host riders, They have had a chance to run a whole moto at race speed and test thier changing lines. The GP mindset and stamina will show in race 2. Townley seems to have lost his GP edge and is riding desperate and pushing too hard to keep it up for a whole race, mistakes are the result. The host nation rider that worked his way into the top 10 was impressive especially with 3-4 top 10 riders off the pace early into moto

Mike can for sure win the second moto. He's a better starter than AC and by the time AC gets true te pack Mike can be gone.

Great 1st motos Looking forward to the 2nd motos I think it may come down to fitness for the 2nd motos. Guys that were running good laps started to drop back near the end. Should be interesting. I don't think anyone has anything for TC222. He's gonna kill next year in the states.

He's not Swedish though, I believe he's from California.

Anyway, let's not hijack the thread. :>

Definitely. He was going for the win. Was a little impatient as I think he thought 222 was gonna pull away. He'll get them next moto.

Not looking to have some random rage battle with you, that's none of my interests, but you have pointed out multiple times before that you are not Swedish. And no, I'm not unexperienced at all.

Looking forward to the second motos in a few, will be great!
