Newer Yzf. No frame mods needed, but I did have to modify rear of brake pedal to get the right angle an  offset.

Modern SXF brake tip almost bolts right on.

There's quite a bit more going on in those pics too.

Does the newer style caliper bolt right up or did you need to modify the bracket?

No, had to modify swingarm for larger axle... and the slider thing had to be repositioned (cut off and re welded)

I welded up the exhaust outlet, re-machined for tighter tolerance.

Head gaskets are enoying when doing multiple head designs and porting configuration.

Since the 93 CR250 is so old, I decided to update the crank. Right side crank wheel is from a 2002-2007 CR250. Left crank wheel is from a YZ250.

Polished transmission, welded and precision ground the cases. All new bearings and seals.

Very intriguing!  I have a '92 and a '96 CR250, both are stock.  I always wanted a better rear brake on both bikes, it feels very weak IMO.  I'm gonna try the master cylinder swap first.  What year YZ did it come off of?

Remember, you do have to modify brake pedal. CUT off back arm, re position and tig weld aluminum

Big axle, newer CR/CRF hub, 240mm rotor, modern rear brake system (with swingarm mods), proper pegs (YZ/YZF fitment?), and completely reworked brake pedal look GOOD! Curious how much lighter these trick mods make it compared to stock 93' bits...Anything else in store on such an impressive build?

This bike was meant to be riden. Honda doesn't make electrical parts for these anymore, so let's make it better... more reliable... and faster.

I took a complete ignition system off a YZ250 and grafted it on. Way better timing ccurves, and I can use a power jet carb.

Wow - you are next level on these ideas and mods. Very curious how it performs with different porting etc. Really cool!

I put an 08 Crf rear master on my 96, It already had period correct larger rear rotor, I”m a brake dragger so I kept the larger rear caliper & pads, I wanted to add a few mm”s to the stock rear brake pedal lenght but after a few laps, I get used to the short lever. Cool mods…IMG 0318 1.jpeg?VersionId=WC .yfz4IDFijKIdN2Yg

2000 RM250 carb, 05 CRF450 forks.

Are the 05 CRF450 forks outer tubes 7mm longer than normal? I had read they were because of the 20" front wheel option?

I've had to raise these forks in the clamps higher than normal to get the bike to handle the way I want.
