I am already ready for the hate.
I did go ahead and search crf110.
I know the form has a bike build form but I feel as if they are missing mini Moto builds.
So far where I looked “faster minis” has the most mini stuff.
I’m guessing the Honda kaw and yamy 110 are about the same and pick your own color.
I do believe I’m going to do the Honda tomorrow.
I know at over 6 foot I need bars and also the longer cables. Maybe another seat. An exhaust would be soo good looking. And the motor dress up kit faster minus has looks soo good. Then some graphics as usual (I heard 180 decals does not test their products on animals). Not planning on doing anything extreme on it. Just cruising around and mainly toying with it in the garage. Maybe framing it the day I get it and checking the coast to powder coat the frame and such black. Other than that not much.
Also talking about bike work…. What do you guys use on minis for stands. I need something I can use my roller chair and have the 110 on a jack that obv raises and Lowers.

They make pitbike specific center stands. Get a flat seat and 200lb springs. You’ll eventually want more power but I feel suspension/cockpit should be the first thing to address on a pitbike. Bbr has great stuff for the 110s as well.
Factoryminibikes.com is your best place to get parts. Check out Facebook pages. There is one for the 2019+ CRF110. Also, planetminis 2.0 is a very popular and helpful page. Some +1 fork legs and a longer/stiffer shock would be a good idea as well. The DNM shock is popular, but it’s not very good. Get an Elka if you can afford it.
I have had a klx110L for over 10 years but spent a bunch of time on my buddies new crf110 last year (he owned a few of them) and honestly I’d pick the crf over the other brands for the efi alone. I’m 6’4, definitely would get taller bars and cables. It’s snappy without the exhaust but wouldn’t hurt at all. Wider pegs could be good too, and you’ll definitely want some suspension upgrades down the road if you’re heavier like me haha
I have an 08 TTR110 I've spent way too much money on. Of all the mods I've done the one that added the most fun was without a doubt the manual clutch kit. Hands down. Night and day difference when you can pull in the clutch, brake slide into a turn, drop 2 gears and clutch the living shit out of it exiting the turn. The fun factor went up 10x. Enjoy your new money pit but be careful, a wise man once told me, "The smaller the wheels, the more dangerous it is" 😆

That is why I moved to the Trail Bike Class. I have a built DRZ125, way more comfortable to ride.
both my boys have EFI CRF110s (I think EFI started in 2018 or 19) and they are a pleasure to ride/work on over a 2018 KLX110 we also have. Unless you enjoy carb cleaning/tuning go with the CRF.
As others have said, focus on handling/rider ergo upgrades first.
Dont forget about BBR: https://bbrmotorsports.shop/?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw_ZC2BhAQEiwAXSg…
Factory mini bikes has everything you’d ever want to build a trick pitbike
T bolt USA also has everything pitbike related
We have 2 CRF110s we use for just at the track and some yard racing. Bars, longer shifter and brake pedal, bigger pegs make a huge comfort difference swapped out the front sprocket cover to one that has a lower roller and change the injected model fuel cap to a billet the click style will break. Real tires Michelins have been the best we have tested so far. The only thing we have done in suspension is a little heavier oil with a slight extra.
I like using Factory Minibikes when ordering pit bike parts. He supports a bunch of pit bike events all over the US. Fast shipping. Even met him a few times at events and always helping people with getting bikes running, etc.
As far as stands, I use the Pit Posse Mini Stands. Work great for me.
I like the KLX. The most availability in parts. And just general comfort on the bike, for me. Honda sits low and is “wide” to me but I’m a smaller rider and that’s all just personal preference. But if just keeping fairly stock, hard to go wrong with any those options.
Here are my stock KLX110 and my KLX 140L with the stands.
Thanks for the input. Also that Kaw looks soo cool. Only positive I’m seeing on the kaw is the clutch in some models. But I guess Honda can always have a aftermarket clutch added.
Looks like I’m going honda. And like the first replay said going to a better cockpit asap!
Will check out the other links also. Thanks!
Worth looking at the CRF125F/FB…definitely be more comfortable if you’re over 6ft and you’d have clutch, longer travel suspension, more clearance, more power, etc. I had quite a few 110s, both Kawi and Honda, but IMO the 125 is better all around. Most of my friends switched to them as well. 110s have slightly more aftermarket parts, but nowadays the 125 has quite a bit of options.
With the black powder coating…this was my first bike I stripped and had done and honestly probably wouldn’t do it again. Looks cool but where I live it is very rocky which really dings it up a lot and I have to have grip tape on the frame at all times (which doesn’t like to stay stuck on there) because boots were wearing on it quick. I moto the thing like a mini big bike though, some of that might not matter as much if you’re cruising around. Wish I had some better pictures of it when it was all done, but quite a few delays on things back during covid so missed the chance to get pics of it all freshly built.
I think im happy i clicked on this thread. I won a 24 crf110 playing fantasy this sx season. After having a look at some of the links in here theres no way its staying stock
Since you plan on modding it. I highly suggest sending the ECU to CJR (Cameron Jones Racing) to have it flashed and give you a solid setup.
As far as Honda 110’s go, Cam is the guru. He can make that thing rip.

Do NOT get on the bike without first installing a shift-shaft protector. Think they are like $20. Install rim locks. Run about 20 psi. Thank me later, son.
THIS ^
Yeah that was one think I forgot was the shift shaft brace. I also agree with the 20 psi or you'll be doing flats a lot.
That things gnarly!
