I'll sum up the last show for you -

Eric Sorby throws a basketball up in Bubba's mansion - puts hole in ceiling.

Bubba pissed. Sorby thrown out.

Housewarming party, people messing up house.

Bubba pissed.

I mean it had potential but there's no action in it, you know it's sad when they have to stage a laundry accident that makes his towels"pink" so yeah idk I did like it but the last episode was weak

That is all BS. He built his own house ON the compound about 2 years ago. He hasn't lived "at home" for a while. There was absolutely nothing true about the entire house thing. Nothing. I still watch it though. I just take it for what it is.

once again, WE know this, but the people they were targeting do not.

just like watching Thrillbillies. the majority of that shit was filmed YEARS before it showed up on MTV, but i guess that doesn't matter, right?

The REALITY-TV premise I've been shopping around, that, admittedly, has plucked

no interest - AT ALL:

A dysfunctional family of extremely obese people restores classic cars/ builds choppers

while they are bobbing about the Bering Sea on a crab-fishing vessel and fighting

amongst themselves while they judge singers and dancers that are randomly picked

up as survivors from islands that feature housewives that are both desperate,

clueless and - are ridiculously wealthy, yet all have mental-health issues.

Not the first. Just wanted to point out that there was another reality show with DV when he was on Bookoo Hondas. And yes, Bubbas World is a very bad show. Who cares who's on it, the content of the show is garbage.

Fyi... The house he bought was my parents/family home and it was for sale. There was no "Chinese guy" that lived there or answered the door. The house is located on an isthmus in a guard gated community and is not easily accessible. He didn't just come upon it by chance as portrayed. It was pure fabrication and must have been shot/staged after he moved in. We really don't understand why? At this point in his career you'd think there'd be so much to show (of interest to his fans) that they wouldn't have to create a story line. Oh well.... we wish him happiness in the house and continued success.

Holy crap, much of that story line is an accurate representation of my wife's family.....

Except the extremely obese part, and they are not a good judge of singing talent.

Show sucks....and I don't want our sport to progress (seeing as how I have nothing to gain from it "progessing"....Yes, I selfish on occassion)....I like it being a "niche" sport. I cringe everytime I see "Fox" clothing in friggin' Macy's....

Think thats what sucks and why people are bummed - it could have been a great opportunity and a great platform but he and probably more his director/producer have blown it. Is kind of like the TV equivalent of supercross the movie, yes its coverage, but its junk. It makes the 'fastest rider on the planet', our sports most elite rider look like a sheltered cheese ball. It kind of un-does how bad ass he really is.

I hear ya... They should just scrap Bubba's World and put The Moto Show on and hit repeat ;-) In fact, Bubba should ride the Nats and be as heavily featured as the Alessis were.. Best of both worlds! haha.

am i allowed to agree with both "sides"

i think it is great to have on tv and even though it is cheesy, i still enjoy it.

However, i feel it could be REALLY good if it was done a little differently...

i am not a bubba fan per say... just a fan of the sport and everyone with sack enough to go that fast.

Reality shows destroy the image of the characters 9 out of 10 times. Never put your dirty laundry out for everyone to see. Kind of like the old saying, "Better to be thought of as an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove it."
