I just purchased a brand new crf250r yesterday and noticed a few things about it. Just wondering if anyone else has?

Firstly - it comes with no spares kit? Ive always had rmz 250 and every brand new bike ive purchased comes with a spares kit.

Secondly - the casting of the casing is so messy. I can run my finger nail on the casing and it'll catch which is annoying. At first i thought it was a crack but it isn't.

Thirdly - the bike is so unbelievably tall, if i were to lower it would it throw off the dimensions of the bike? I'm 5ft, so the height is a bit of an issue

Fourthly - the bike is super loud compared to the rmz makes me super excited to try it out today 🤸‍♀️

This is my first time purchasing and riding the CRF anyone else have any good experiences with them or bad?

Poll

Crf 250r good purchase?

I’m sure once you ride it and get used to it you’ll like it more and more.

You verify the race sag on the bike? It will take several hours for the suspension to break in. May need to swap out springs for your weight. Seat height should be similar to the rmz you had. Most bikes fall between 37.5 to 38 inch seat heights.

I just purchased a YZ125, with a seat height of 38.6 inches I can barely get 1 foot down I'm only 5' 7" so I feel ya. If you are riding mainly moto the seat height should not be an issue. Dont think its worth taking away suspensipn travel. You can shave the seat down but then the seat won't be as comfortable.

Honda usually is known for good quality on their products.
