The NEW Moto Hose 2024-2025 KX450 / KX450X Works Y Hose Kit includes: 2 - one piece Silicone Y hose with 3 ends. One Y hose eliminates the stock steel cross over tube running all the way to the water pump like the Factory Team. The second Y hose moves the temperature sensor to the cylinder like the factory team uses. 2 - Anodized Aluminum fittings, Hose Clamps, Gas Cap and Radiator Overflow Hose.
Colors: Green, Blue, Red and Now Purple!
As of right now our NEW Purple kits will not include a gas cap and overflow hose.
Decision haven’t been made yet for anodizing color but its down to Gold and Blue.

Do you have pictures of the 24 kx450 with the y kit installed. And also are the anodized alum fittings avail in black?
We are expecting to do our final test fit just to see if any minor trimming needs to be performed and take pictures of all of our kit colors in the next 2 weeks in time for them to be available for Loretta Lynns.
We are looking for someone local at ClubMX, South of The Border, Rock Hill Powersports or the Charlotte area with a 2024 KX450 for the test fit and receive a free set. We have also heard that a local Kawasaki Rep has one.
For the quick look check in the Vital MX Pit Bits at the 2024 SX or Outdoor Nationals for the Factory Kawasaki team KX450 that runs a similar design Black silicone Y hoses with stock OEM aluminum fittings. The Moto Hose Works Y Kit will look about the same but our Y Hose colors are Green, Blue, Red and Purple (no black) with either a Gold or Blue anodized aluminum fittings.

250F/350F Works Y kit
We have some Good news and some bad news about the NEW KX450 Works kits.
We had already detected a miscalculation on the water pump fitting not holding the O ring down as far as I would have liked it to so a correction was already being done before CNC production.
The good news is we are making the fittings in the titanium color that so many had requested. The gold and blue just didn’t look as good as I thought they would with the purple hoses so it was the time to change them in production.
The bad news is the aluminum parts will not arrive here as quickly as we were expecting and to complicate it even more because we are headed out to Pueblo Colorado for an international Newmar RV get together we will be closed down from next Friday until returning August 8th or 9th.
Another good news is we have receive more models Purple hose kits today so will post more pic later

Good question.
Simple answer is Moto Hose Silicone Radiator Hoses are rated at 130 PSI and 360 degrees before failing.
A Moto Hose Silicone radiator hoses can withstand much higher temperatures and internal pressures than a stock rubber hose can. Silicone is a much better material for a radiator hose. Ambulance’s, police cars, fire vehicles, 18 wheelers use silicone radiator hoses because it is a much better material.
The newer KTM/HUS/GAS 250/350 are constantly melting through the stock rubber hoses from the header. Exhausts are brutal on melting through a rubber hose. Stock Plastic Y hose fittings can and do melt too.

The Stock rubber hose melts from being so close to the exhaust. Moto Hose tries to keep the silicone hose far away from the pipe as we can.
@lumpy790 any chance you will make black hoses for the Factory KX450 set up? Already on board with the new hose set up, but prefer the neutral black look. Maybe I’m the odd man out!
Made that mistake several years ago and unless the model is an old ATV 98% are still sitting on the shelf so not making that mistake again.
