I'm not an expert on anything. I should have paid more attention in school/college. This is what I remember...Religion is the belief that there is a creator/higher power. Church is where like minded believers gather to share their faith. Sadly, these churches often are led by people that use the platform in "less than "Godly" ways.". History shows these "my way or else" Church driven societies tend to be brutal.
Communism/socialism sounds good on paper..."Everyone is equal...we all share the same prosperity/suffering". Nope. Much like the Church, the leaders use the system to empower/enrich themselves.
As far as the question of whether Church or Communism has killed more people... I'd have to give the nod to Church simply because it's been around much longer and has had a far wider reach.

But back to the Deegan slam fest, it was actually my first mountain bike race I've ever watched and it was really cool now that I been riding mountain bikes. Yeah, it's a pedal assist bike, but I'm 66 years old tomorrow..... 😳
Doing inclines for me takes all the fun out of it, but not with this bike.
But back to the race, yeah, Tom had a early lead until the flat front tire. His pit crew was, not really prepared, but Tom was very calm when they installed the tire. He got way behind by over 45 seconds. I thought it was over for him.
The hometown favorite Frenchman took over the lead. Looked like it was his race to win. The crowd was going crazy slowly, but surely Tom picked off the riders in front of him and on the last lap, he took the inside lane and made contact with the Frenchman and his foot got knocked off the pedal. Nothing too outrageous as far as us moto, guys go. I'm not sure how much they slam in this sport, like I said, I've never watched it, but I thought it was awesome! 😁
