Build thread for the first pic is in the Old School section. Got tired of looking at it in my livingroom. Basically started with a new bike.
Mods:
Rebuilt crank (Mr. Crankshaft)
NOS powervalves
KDX trans/clutch swap
ported, case matched
new genuine carb, Tusk adjusters
E-Line stator, fuse box, battery, wiring, LED bulbs, horn, waterproof multi connectors where subframe mounts to frame for easy removal
Trailtech Endurance 2
KX High bars
Zeta copy guards
ODI grips
bar end mirrors
Applied top clamp, stripped and polished
shortened suspension, 37mm limiters, cut fork springs to reduce preload
DNA 06+ KX wheelset, 3.5/5" with Warp9 rear hub adapters
120/60-17 front, 160/60-17 shitty tires, going with Conti SM soon
stock KXf rotors
mid 90s KLR rear caliper bracket, helps with larger rotor
offset Vortex rear sprocket, 15/43 gearing
Toxic racing chain guide, modded lower guide
RK X ring chain
Warp9 250f shifter and brake pedal, massaged to fit
stock pipe, wrapped for noise
Acerbis carbon fiber spark arrestor, restored
OEM/NOS plastics
NOS Acerbis fork guards
custom Motoseat seat cover, purple with green stitching (I added the patch)
stock NOS tank with reserve petcock
NOS WC radiator guards
Modded WC frame guard (still have to install right side)
Modded/shortened Fastway kickstand 03 KX
IMS Pro pegs
Modded Motovation sportbike axle sliders
Thats pretty much it. Getting the cylinder replated and replacing the tires in a couple months. Plated in Vermont. Its a blast on the road, with the gearing I can cruise at 60/65mph and still have fun in the lower gears

Hey I just sent you a personal message. I have been looking for a seat cover like that FOREVER. Please send me the link on where you got it or who I can’t contact, thank you!
A couple current pics.
Added a AC Racing subframe and have a WC glide plate that I need to restore before I install it. Im sticking with this seat, front fender and pipe.
Nice !!!
Nice! back at ya.
How do you like those tires? Im running the Diablo 2s but they suck on anything but dry pavement.
I bought used rain tires from a local road racer so they were harder after going through a few heat cycles. On my 450 I never ran slicks but ran sticky street tires.
250 2 stroke doesn’t destroy the tires like the 450 did.
