With the battery life on them, I can’t imagine there would be a very big market for them.
Zero makes one, but it is not very popular

They just did a race with a battery swap at 1:14.

Yes, Enduro and Supermoto, road registered, are in development, probable release date in 2025.

They have hired Taddy Blazusiak and Eddie Karlsson to help with development, competing at various Enduro races in Spain, Sweden...

Guys are already racing the Varg in US Sprint Enduro series, GNCC and various hare scramble, hard enduro Australia...

I've also found Max course preview vids useful to show what a great rider can do on a hard enduro course, here is the first one:

Range would be the biggest limiting factor, depending a lot on rider, terrain and type of riding, the fastest riders typically get 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Lots of vids on YouTube, your results may vary, check this out (he has 2 other videos about enduro range):

Latest update adding "crawl" mode and reverse was apparently well received by enduro riders.

Getting up to 2.5hrs in tight enduro conditions. 1.5hrs in open enduro. The more you turn the throttle the quicker the battery drains, in enduro you don't need to turn it too far, speeds are fairly low.

There was a guy 'back home' that I would see all the time with a Zero FX (most basic).  He rode that thing nearly every day unless there was ice on the ground.  He pulled up next to me at a stop light one day when I was on my DRZ and we chatted for a few minutes.  He absolutely loved that thing.  Was basically free 'fuel' at $0.023 per kwh!

You buried the lead:  $0.023 per kWh?  Is that due to relatively low demand and hydro in the PNW?

Not really low demand, but the utilities are publicly owned, not for-profit like down here.  Right now my base rate is more than 4X what it was up there.  And the kicker is, if you input 'back into' the grid at several of the PUDs up there, the amount they rebate you is 2-3X what the kwh charge is up to your usage amount.

This Texas utility crap is f'ed up, if you ask me.  They need a couple of big 'ol nuclear reactors over in W Texas to power the state!
