I was riding 80s at the time, and the ruts in my last moto were so deep that my bars scraped the sides. I have no idea how i finished in that moto, all i know is at the end they handed me the hardwear, I have never seen so much mud. nice to hear that my pops was not the only lunatic.... Mr 50 what class did you ride?

That would have been a good heavyweight bought if old Lou V. and Mr. B duked it out! One for the ages! We could of had Harry referee the event.

Donna Dymond Mick's sister, worked for my family business, remember she was the super hot one taking the riders signatures when you came into Saddleback.

Hey Observer. We had a ride day at Rio this past weekend. Lot's of old timers showed up. Danny Erdlejack (sp?) bought the track a couple of years ago and is in the process of restoring it. Decoster, Steve Wise, Marty Tripes and Howerton showed up also. Shaun runs a health club in Houston.

cmcomet -- Hello Jamie Oliver! #408 is seen so many times in my negative archives. From an XR75 to this YZ125 racing between Saddleback and OCIR. I hope to see you at the Harry's reunion on May 15.

It's Paul Denis, Bruce Bunch, Sam Storer#2 and 18 Todd Campbell on the back track at Saddleback. Must be a sat. CMC event and looks like Paul dove into the lead on this moto/holeshot kid himself! I like the riding contrast, Denis is up and driving to the corner, and Bruce is in his usual position, on the seat and back! One of my favorite pictures, and compliments of Mr. Corley himself.

Hey mr50racer, I remember '77 down in Houston and some wild Nebraska Cornhusker fan punching Surber! If this is who I think it is, how are your mom (hopfully you have dropped the nickname you gave her) and dad doing? She made a mean beef and homemade noodles. If I remember correctly, the biggest event that happened while we were all in Houston in 77 was ELVIS passing away on the toilet! That was a mess and the AMA Mini National in San Antonio '77 was just about as muddy. The muddiest may have been Loretta Lynn's in 85 though.

What are your mom and dad up to. Hope they are doing well! I stayed with you back in, I believe, '84 for a few months for the Golden State series.
