I'll put these in the "iconic" thread "when it's time". 😉

I watched Deegan send that ant hill to a quad every lap of the first moto. Except maybe two of them because of a lapper and the final lap when he backed it down. The majority of the field, 250 or 450, weren't doing it. Kid is just full send at all time.

5 races down with 6 to go and a 42 point lead. Hopefully Brian can keep him harnessed and focused on the big picture. He sure does haul the mail.

RC 2.0  Dangerboy the real deal. I was at the wick yesterday and he put on a show and was fun to watch. No Fear!

His flamboyant riding style and will to win remains me of a young RV, kid's got a bright future that's for sure...

I see that, too.  Also a little ET bulldog style.  JS7 pointed out Deegan’s head swag on the broadcast.

Yup. RC, RV, Tomac. Just going for it and wants to crush his competition

I see a mix of ET3 and JS7.  The beat the track into submission of Tomac and the try it when nobody else has in Bubba.

I wasn’t a fan early on, the Loretta’s thing and some of the podium stuff just rubbed me wrong…. But that moto 2 massive scrub showed a commitment level that can’t be overlooked.  I’m warming up a bit to Deegs.

Look, he’s on THE trajectory…. Someone who can be a multi time champ.  Will he?  We'll find out.

No.  I just meant it as the saying goes  "he is strong as an ox".

Funny thing…

OX was the guy that actually, by most opinions, kicked Brian’s ass at Winter X…& still…he had to settle for 2nd/Silver…it was a bitter pill.

Years later, when OX lost his life while riding with us in Baja…it was Brian that spoke at Jeff’s funeral…it was truly beautiful & the dude spoke with love…from the heart…and with amazing humility, spirit and respect.

So, to see what you posted and even how you wrote “OX”…

Well, it’s just a really damn nice coincidence…

So, thanks.

I've become a fan.  I agree with the comparisons and would add Stew in there as well.  I watched the Reeds and Deegs video the other day - Haiden looked incredible. So much style and flash, and very creative also.

I think it is plausible he wins 9-10 of the 11 rounds

One thing that seems to get overlooked is the kid does have great technique. Some people focus so much on the "send it" style of his riding and act as if he's a wild child that relies solely on grit and lacks fundamentals, but if you really watch him, he's quite technically sound. Naturally, he's not gonna look as smooth and precise as Jett, but I would attribute that to his shorter stature more so than any kind of technique deficiency. I don't think any smaller guy has had that smooth Windham/Jett style... Carmichael, Villopoto, Stewart all looked somewhat similar to Deegan, and I would argue Deegan looks even more precise on the bike than those guys (not saying he's better than them).

Clearer, but at a less optimal timing of the scrub…. I’ve watched the video 4 times and it’s so aggressive and impressive, I wonder if he’s going to land it each time I watch it…

I love watching him race...and then cringe when he talks. I just wish he could get a "handler" that would help him with the subtle art of professionalism.

Well some of us mute Will or others when they talk so just mute DNGR when he talks.

My bills in the mail 😉
