Had some success on my trial run of betting on TGO last weekend. Turned $35 into $250 on 2 different parlays, one being a Moto only play.
This isn't a flex post whatsoever, I just find some of the lines Underdog has put out very interesting. All of this sports betting on Moto is very new, and I feel like there are some plays that take advantadge of whoever is setting the odds. For example; my other winning play from the weekend featuring CC28 finishing 8th or worse.With Craig only having 5 weeks on the bike after a gnarly elbow injury - this was a surefire lock IMO.
Anyway - here are the betting lines that just dropped today. The lines change a bit throughout the week/during qualifying.
Just like ALL sports betting, anything can happen. But I love the value in some of these plays compared to other sports betting I occasionally do (maybe my bias talking lol)
Yup, I agree, I've consistently made 200 (at worst) each weekend since around Philly SX. The lines are just made by some random algorithm that doesn't take into account injuries and such simply because the only people that are aware of that information are true, hardcore fans.
how much are you spending on each bet to make 200+ ? ive been wanting to try it but dont feel like losing my ass. but if i could bet around 35 to make 200 itd be hard not to do it
I should note, if you haven't sports bet in the past try to educate yourself so you don't go in blind the first time thinking its easy money. I know lots of people that have lost A LOT, like sickening amounts of money. I personally don't bet more on a weekend than I would spend on a nice steak dinner for 2.

Does anyone know if someone is listed at a '.0' finishing position, like 3.0 for example, does that mean 3.0 is a win or a loss? I understand if it was 3.5 you would have to have your rider finish 3rd or better to win your "better" bet, but I wasn't sure about a position ending in '.0'
So in a traditional prop if you picked better than 3.0, and the Player/Rider finished 3rd thats a loss. But I have WON the prop in that same situation on underdog fantasy on moto.
Its tough to say, but right now I stay away from those lines

If you follow moto and you're comfortable gambling then there's money to be made on Underdog. It's more-so about finding your spots. I don't recommend betting on Jett's 1.5 or Hunter/Sexton's 2.5. Stick to Anderson, Barcia, Mookie, etc when their projections are around 7.5. For some reason they kept putting Malcolm at 12.5 when he hasn't finished worse than 9th outdoors and Craig was being set to 7.5 when his best finish is 9th outdoors.
I have an Excel sheet that has Underdog's over/under, average finish and individual moto finishes and it helps figuring out where the value is each week. Southwick is going to be tough because I don't know how well some of these European/Australian riders are going to do.. Webster, Krestinov, Kullas, anyone else?
Funny you mention the Jett over 1.5.. the first week I took that bet he crashed out at hangtown lol.
I have some friends who basically said screw Underdog they're never using it again, then proceeded to tell me they didn't bet on Craig worse than 7.5 but bet on Sexton better than 2.5.. gotta find the value
I understand this might seem a bit self-promotional, but there's not much content out there for betting on mx, underdog specifically. My brother and I have been discussing this non-stop since it became available in our state, so we thought, why not share it with others who might to listen?
