A cat throwing a shaka ?
New addition to the TRD. Yakima platform rack for kayak attacks, long boards, or whatever else is too long for the 5’ bed.

It took a little McGyvering to get the fairing to stop reverberating and vibrating over 65 mph but after many tries and adjustments I got it to quiet down and stop “fluttering”.
Frunk anyone?

There's some incredible pictures coming from the webb telescope recently...
Food is art.....
Wife and I had a "celebration" dinner this weekend and had a phenomenal small plates experience. I'm not usually one to photograph meals out....but wow. I live for spices/flavor and ethnic food.
If you're local to San Diego and want to take out your S.O. for an incredible taste-bud experience. Hit up Callie Restaurant downtown.
Japanese Kampachi = green Israeli “hot sauce”, black lime, avocado
Left:- mushrooms, olive oil breadcrumbs, slow poached egg Right - CORN & SHISHITO RAVIOLI = pecorino romano, grilled morel mushrooms, crispy caraway onions
Left - CRUNCHY EGYPTIAN CARROTS = cilantro, cashew dukkah, burnt orange-habanero dressing (photo was taken after stirring up the carrots with the sauce....the original presentation was beautiful
Right- ALEPPO CHICKEN - sumac pickles, yogurt, coriander honey
Both of these photos are magnificent.
Scenes like this are one more reason I believe in the Creator.
Just a few of the mind blowing photos I've been seeing, on the NASA site today.
Wife and I have a thing for typewriters.
Picked up a Hermes 3000 in flawless working order on Craigslist recently (these are known as the Rolls Royce of typewriters). This particular model has the rare cursive typeface which is absolutely beautiful. Fully restored, these go for $1000 and up. Snatched it up for a few hundred.
From a more elegant era.....
This picture is not mine, but shows the type style.
After punching a few of these
While riding this
I bought these
F you artichokes !
Took this at a jet ski race I was hired to shoot a couple of weeks ago. Shooting them again this coming weekend. It's a very photogenic sport!
Interesting rock I found in the Crab Creek valley south of Royal City Wa. When I was doing the late archery deer season a half dozen years ago.
Here is the valley from up on top looking south.

Living out in the woods, we have every animal in east Tennessee wandering around.
Everything but bear, I've seen around here.
Deer.
Bobcat.
Fox.
Groundhog.
Possum.
Coons, etc...
Even a twice daily visit from our resident skunk.
She routinely waddles around oblivious to my/our presence.
(Took me a while to get used to her wandering out of the bushes, and across the driveway)
Yesterday she brought her 4 babies out for a stroll to munch under our bird feeders.
They all have the same white V pattern running down their sides.
I looked out recently late at night when I saw a black animal curled up next to a calf and at first thought it was another calf from a distance. I walked up and shined a flashlight and it got up and ran in circles and I thought cat but as I got closer I see it's a Skunk and it headed into the woods and I noticed it had a perfect trail that it uses regularly. Cute little thing.
I was surprised to see these little guys come out from underneath a room I had built out in an old animal shed. They paid me no mind as I stood 5 feet or so away.
Not gonna lie, it caught me off guard and i freaked for a second.
But then it was like i was invisible and they didn't give two craps about me. Neat encounter.
Reminds me of some of the scenes from Independence day where a UFO glides out of the cloud....
