So backstory; I had a pair of Oakley sunglasses with prizm lens’s that just looked like a standard sunglass lens color wise but outside they really made greens/browns “pop” and really seemed to enhance the definition and I always kept thinking how they would be sweet for goggles…Well I found a good deal on a set of 100% Armegas with a Hiper lens and after some reading thought they would be pretty close…but I’m not really stoked on the look, they just give everything a blue tint for the most part and don’t really notice any colors enhanced more than others…My hipers are blue on the outer edges but fade into a redish/orange in the center.
Is there an Oakley Mx Prizm lens color to match what my old sunglass’s seemed to do or what’s your experiences with different color Hiper and Prizm lenses in general.
Oakley makes Prizm lenses for their MX goggles. If you can determine which exact prizm shade you liked it is probably available in an MX lens also.
I appreciate the response! Unfortunately fancy sunglasses don’t last long with me and I no longer have them lol. I’m aware of them making the Prizm lens that’s what I’m getting at. I’m a bit dissatisfied with the Hiper lens and was looking for some input on the different shades and what people like most as I don’t have much availability at all to try them….or maybe got dooped on my Armegas there fake, I purchased them on eBay and they came in a legit looking rectangular 100% Box along with a spare clear Hiper lens and from what I could tell seem real. So maybe that’s all the Hiper lens’s do is add a tinted color rather than like my old prizm sunglasses make some colors more vibrant.
I was surprised to see some oakley mx goggles at the oakley store in a local mall
I’ve been using the prism lens on my air brakes for years. Really like the definition they add on the rutted and shaded areas of the track.

Yea I was at Philly supercross and was hoping to compare both brands but neither had a display…maybe Unadilla this summer usually Oakley is there atleast.
You should check out the Scott Prospects with the Amplifier lens, it has the same effect as Prizm. Injection molded so really comfy view for the eye and the amp brings out the contrast. I have the rose version of the amplifier and it works in all conditions, bright or dim despite the salesman stating "it's for woods riding only". Mirror blue & gold available at least too for bright conditions.
I got Prizm on my snowboard goggles and it definitely is really good tech. Scott just way more affordable in moto.
I don’t think Armega comes with two lenses so if your seller wasn’t a guy just changing brands you may have a cheap copy.
Yeah I’m thinking I may have, the clear lens even says Hiper and that doesn’t really make sense to me being clear lol here’s the photos.
I'm kind of a goggle geek, it's one of my secret obsessions. I have Oakley Airbrakes, Oakley Frontlines, 100% Armegas, Scott Prospects, and a hand full of cheaper goggles. I will be short and to the point. 90% of the time I wear my Oakley Frontlines with a rose prizm lens.
The Hiper and Amplifier lens work good, and are definitely an improvement over standard lenses but the Prizm lens makes everything just pop much more than the others.
Good call on the possibility of a knockoff by @wrc777 . Yeah I don't think there is such a thing as Hiper clear lens and the mirror lens on yours does have that Temu-rainbow colorway while all official mirrors are single color.
Yep wife did a 5 min search and sure as shit they look identical to some temu tiktok video🤦♂️Well that explains things… I read into fakes and usually it said they come just wrapped in plastic ect. The box and bag all looked legit. Thanks for all the insights everyone, got some options to look into!
I have never seen a clear hiper lens (100% doesn’t show it on their site) and that red/gold lens doesn’t look right either.
Sincerely,
Xi Jing Ping
HiPER lenses are pretty sick, if yours just gives a tinted color, they ain’t real.
