The selling off of our SR’s was a bandaid move that didn’t give much relief, and made us vulnerable. Him buying back now is because it’s an election year. I doubt seriously that we are paying less for the oil than when we originally filled the reserves.

I do agree with inflation hindering retirement. Getting into a trade was my investment in my future. Now, six figures barely seems to cover the cost of paying bills.
