I love Weege, he’s the best in the game..but can we please stop yelling “Almost crashed!” anytime someone gets a little loose? I understand Sexton was hanging it out his last moto, and (maybe) almost slid out on the landing of the step down when he did the little two wheel slide. Js was also bad about it, but I think he only made those comments because it’s Chase. Or maybe not.. idk. Regardless, it’s an ongoing thing with these “Almost crashed!!” claims over the smallest swap or it’s even been yelled after someone scrubbing or just having fun on a jump. Maybe it’s just for the viewers that don’t know any better, or Weege actually thinks these guys are almost crashing because maybe from his experience anytime a bike has moved sideways under him he ends up crashing? Total speculation.
To sum it up I really don't think Chase had any moments that were over the top. I doubt he felt that way either, because he did then he would’ve backed it down.

Chase had a few moments where he was well outside the realm of being in control... The rest is just the commentators selling drama/a story.

No big deal to me. Awesome race though!

Do you feel better now that you got it off your chest?  FWIW, doubt anything changes in the broadcast, but hope you feel better now.

I agree, but he still didn’t care. Haha. It was an awesome moto for sure.

To be fair 95% of the riders on the track would have crashed given the same situation

His ride brought back memories of James Stewart riding on the edge. I don’t think Weege was out of line with those comments

You girls gotta start worrying about more important things. Get some more direct sunlight and exercise.

Doesn't out of control mean crashing? he didn't crash, was in control and had an epic ride.

You know what, during those last couple of laps, I couldn’t tell you one word of what the commentators said. I guess we’re not the same.

Noted.

Personal Sidenote: I miss the days where you had to write it down, put it in an envelope, stick a stamp on said envelope and then drop your message in a post box to be heard. Those barrier to entry meant people got over it before they had even found a pen and paper and if by chance the letter was sent, somebody still had a chance to file it in the bin.
