So they often will show the mechanics of certain riders pit boards during races. It's common. It's also common that they go into the mechanics area during the race and even interview the mechanic of certain riders during the race. We're witnessing the best race of Chase's career to date. We're on the edge of our seats, and really into what he was doing. I would've loved to have seen the messages his mechanic was putting out for him on his pit board. Even an interview with his mechanic during the race would've been great. Seeing his emotions, and what he was saying to push or motivate Chase. Great race, but sucks we we weren't shown his pit board for a few of those epic laps.
chase doesnt read the pitbord ever he claimed in an interview recently
It said "Jett crashed its now or never" and the second one was about him still being hurt.
speaking of pit boards I wish AP’s mechanic would’ve showed him a pit board that said you need to fucking go 2nd’s coming. He looked like he thought he had it in the bag and pretty much admitted on the podium he backed it down at the end and got surprised. Epic ride by Chase obviously but dang it we wanted to see AP get the moto win.

i'm not buying that AP didn't know he was coming. lotta spots on that track to pace against upcoming riders. i honestly think AP was spent and when he realized he was comin hard he couldn't match or increase pace enough. everyone chase caught and passed were pretty much gassed out. that was a hard charge pace which was definitely impressive
I thought he was charging till 1/2 way through the white flag lap, then his elbows dropped and it seemed like any “sense of urgency” went away, I think he thought he had it, and if he knew Sexton was coming as fast he was, he could’ve turned it up for another half lap. He got him at what like 3 turns from the finish ?

It would still be interesting to see what was written. You can guarantee they write stuff for him anyway.
I'm honestly surprised there isn't always a camera placed strategically watching the mechanic's pit board area. I would think those messages would be TV gold. Creating storylines by the dozen.
