He did buy his first own bike and with his own suspension will race AMA Nationals starting Hangtown.
Lets hope he gets some help after Hangtown to get his bike transfer to High Point race. If someone can help him please contact him. He did great last year races he entered.
Between these races he is racing in Brasil nationals.
He has a Brazilian national during thunder valley weekend or he just skips it?
Hopefully he will get to race lots of rounds and have someone haul his bike to the races. Where will he be based out of?
To my understanding, Kullas races as many nationals as possible when they do not conflict with the Brazilian series.
I think he has contract with Brazilian KTM team but if he gets proper ride/fill-in he could jump and ride rest of Nationals. Maybe we will hear this weekend more.
Harri Kullas has experience racing all around the globe and last year got his first experience racing the AMA Nationals with the help of Cab Screens Yamaha.
He contested three rounds of the series and impressed that side of the world running in the top ten – he even led some laps.
Unfortunately, the Cab Screens Yamaha team have closed their doors and bizarrely Kullas has been left without a ride in Europe. It has seen him race in Brazil but after an injury contesting the Arenacross UK series he missed the first round of that series.
Kullas will be heading to Hangtown this weekend for the second round of the AMA Nationals as a privateer after buying a bike this week. Unfortunately, he can’t race round three as he has obligations to race in Brazil but he is hoping to race High Point and then possibly more rounds of the AMA Nationals depending on results and how things go.
“The plan is to ride as many AMA outdoors as possible. We will see how it all goes after this weekend, actually. We will go weekend by weekend because it will obviously cost a lot of money to be a privateer and travel around America. First of all, I bought a bike this week and we are getting some help over there. We have an Estonian guy who is living in San Francisco so he can help me at Hangtown, then we will try to find transport and parts for High Point. After Hangtown I have a race in Brazil which I have to do then hopefully come back for High Point.
“After High Point I’ve another Supercross in Brazil but then in July I should be free from Brazil. I can stay more in America then but we’ll see how things go. The first race in Hangtown, then Brazil, High Point. Let’s see where we are and how it goes. It’s a lot of money and a lot of travelling but we will see”.

Kullas is sorely missed from the British Championship.
Hope he’s ready for the heat
13. Harri Kullas (KTM) 15-13 first race with stock KTM fighting factory riders sounds good start.

Still don’t feel 100% confident on the bike to give that extra push when needed. Also need to realise that not many guys change tires in between races.
Well done, 12th in the championship for a privateer who missed two rounds due to previous commitments (Brazilian championship), well deserved.
Absolutely no disrespect to Harri, but do his sponsors pay Peacock to get him TV time? Anderson got Hunter with about 10-12 mins left, and Deano was moving forward, but the broadcast stuck with Harri all alone in 14th-15th for like 5 laps straight until he passed Pape. Unless there’s a battle, they don’t even usually stick with the leaders that long.
Noticed but I think the TV crew fell asleep or thought it was Sexton or someone. It became a bit funny after they just tracked him for ages
