If there's one thing the AMA is consistent about, it's being inconsistent. Hunter Lawrence SHOULD have been disqualified.

It's SX. Narrow ass tracks with 22 dudes doing crazy shit at warp speed. This stuff happens at every race. Some guys try to avoid it cause it's risky bidness...others are less risk averse.
While I do appreciate the skill and balls SX requires I really only watch it because it's the same guys I LOVE watching outdoors. Yes, I'm old but I prefer "purist".

Jason races HARD & he’s got some old school Hannah/Howerton/Staten in him.
That’s as simple as it is for someone that’s been watching him since he was kicking ass at Loretta's.

No, I would describe them like this:
Anderson's pass was fine, nothing wrong with it and nothing overly aggressive about it. People here are acting like it was a t-bone or a takeout, but not even close. Hunter only went down because he stayed in it instead of checking up (like Anderson did). Just like RC and RV said, Hunter could have avoided it.
Jett's retaliation pass was also fine, nothing wrong with that pass either. However, if you are comparing the two, Jett's pass was more aggressive AND it was a retaliation move so technically Jett's pass was worse than Anderson's. With that said, Jett's pass was still acceptable in my book, but I don't think it was a smart move.
Finally, Hunter's retaliation move while being a lap down was just straight up a little bitch move. If he was on the same lap, it wouldn't have been a big deal. I like Hunter, but I do not approve of that move.
Even though I'm fine with Jett's retaliation pass, I think it's a very stupid move for him to get involved, and even more stupid to make the comment about Anderson needing to be punched in the face. It's possible someone (Anderson or Jett/Hunter) is going to end up on the ground with an injury and either out for a few races or even the season.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

I already can't stand Huntah.... Jett, I've been okay with....but he's getting a little bloated in the head these days.

What a completely STUPID move on Jett to go into JA like that when he had EVERYTHING to lose. That actually would have been awesome if he broke his bike somehow and lost the championship. 99% just for the fan-bois heads exploding and tears.
I can't believe how wound up everyone is getting over this, JA's pass was aggressive but fine its SX...But Hunter wasn't taking his crap and ran him a little wide to say hey your not knocking me down and getting away with it .... Everyone calling for Hunter to be DQ'd are ridiculous .. It added a little spice to what would have otherwise been a boring 450 Finale and gives us something to look forward to going into Outdoors
If the roles were reversed and one of the Aussies knocked down Anderson and then Anderson retaliated while a LAP DOWN would you be cool with it?
Second question, do you want other lappers to start messing with the leaders in boring races to spice it up?
