150sx or 350f

A 250f will be the easiest bike to ride. 350 is going to feel closer to a 450 and for the sake of power delivery I’d get a 125 over the 150 if you wanted to go that route but both are really slow to race against 250s so a happy medium is buying the 250f.

Yeah, didnt Reynard win LL on a Husky 125? I think Emig did too. You can definitely do it, but on average 350 is going to be better at most races for 95% of riders

Our tracks hv shorter straights with a lot of turns.  350,s or bigger hv to slow down more in corners & they sink into the sand more. A 125 corners faster & cuts into the sand less. A lot of corners a 125 closed the gap on the 350 or bigger big bike advantage on the straights. If I can make any money out here . I would like to race red Bud am days. Fri pro track, Fri night , sat night, sun pro track.  That’s big long track with hardly any corners. The 50,55+ riders r x pro,s a little harder to run down. So I,ll race vintage & hv a chance or 125, b,c class & get smoked. A 8 or 10 would b Really good. Fast rippers from all ovr .  Fri night track 50+ because it’s tight & hard pack.  Basically race a lot there just for fun. Bust out some tricks on the night track for the partiers.

Budd racing has a lot of trick stuff for the yz125. That pipe on my 04 is a hgs Budd 03 kx125. A lot of cutting & bending to install . I,m still not done with it. The hit is softer which is good then it pulls 5x longer than a fmf which is a pretty good pipe. You know hgs pipes r made in Holland. My Mom was born there & in ww2.

He’s on a Husky 250 (or 300) 2-stroke this year.

I might hv to sell my 125 & pu a cr250 or a 500 modded ready to go. Unsecured a gypsy ld then 40 mi drive i was soaked in sweat i never dried off. Then secure 3 coils , muggy as hell. I love the weather but 10,11 hrs of busting my azz & starving. Then drive a few hrs , suicide coils with a blown out trk, Not fun. I,m strong enough again to easily handle a 500 wo. I made it through pigeon forge min pass & severe weather again. Flooding in tx. A ton rain in nc. This shit is chasing me around. .
