Could RC come back with a few months of prep and beat Reed? Possibly since I wouldn't bet against RC on anything on 2 wheels. Hands down? He wasn't before, why do you think he would now.

Beat him or hot, it would definitely make Reed nervous to look over and see Ricky Carmichael on the line. From that point on, Reed might beat himself.

I'm gonna change that a little. RC and Stewart racing each other left Reed the last 2 years most races. RC vs Reed without Stewart making RC ride on the edge have been pretty even with the nod to RC. I doubt RC was comfortable running that pace but did what he had to. Reed hasn't been willing to ride on the edge. If he was we might be debating who will win the title between Ferry/Windham and Milsaps. You have to be in one piece to win, like Pastrana before him Stewart can't ride that speed without getting hurt all the time.
