I agree with that too. A good portion of Viatl posters have never watched a GP race and have no respect for the GP series. If the person that posted that had ever watched a GP they would know better. The GP promoters pride themselves in rough tracks. they do very little if any work on the track all weekend long. If the guy that posted that GH will be rougher then what GP riders are used to is reading this he should click the link I'm putting in this post. I don't think the GP riders will hate GH. In fact I think the exact opposite. I think they'll love the place. I read some comments from various GP riders that say they are very much looking forward to it.

Here's a real mx track. As rough as it gets. Here's the 2nd mx2 moto at Lierop. Remember the mx 1 second moto was after this with no track work. I couldn't find mx 1 moto 2 though.

Thanks for the heads up to Lierop DanDunes. That track is rougher then most can handle.
Here's a bunch of pics from the 08 GP I took that might show how crazy that place is.

Agree it is sand and it shouldn't be compared to GH so lets compare it to southwick. Compared to that it was a free way..Oh and I was the one saying GH was rougher then every other GP track except Lierop. GH was even oddly enough rougher then southwicks sand the last couple years. That's why I love GH. They keep it very rough.

Here's southwick,,

To me that's just incredible. I associate 15 yr olds with the supermini or schooldboy classes. Not battling for GP wins. I wonder how the field feels when 1st and 3rd qualifiers yesterday were 15 yrs old. if you combine their ages Kevin Windham is still two years older then them. In fact KW was winning supercrosses and nationals before they were born.

The age of racing pro in the states will come back to bite them on the bum. Will the top juniors race in Europe and maybe Australia.

I realsie all riders mature at differrent ages and some dont shine till early 20.s etc.

But this must be fantastic race / life experiences for these young riders, 15years old and winning GP races.

Good luck to all and cant wait till the Race starts.

My picks Rozen and Antonio

Agree with this post some what. I do think there are going to be times where kids go to the GPs at 15 , 16 yrs old and don't come back because they're famous over there and like it allot but overall I don't think it will effect the ama talent pool much. If anything it will make those kids faster so when they get back they're well prepared and somewhat seasoned pro already.

One thing I will say is the new rule isn't going to accomplish keeping kids in school like they hope it will. Young prodigies will be home schooled like they have been for awhile now and will go to the gps while waiting to be old enough for the ama.

I agree as well , I dont think you will see very many young guys go the GP route , maybe one or two top level riders go, per year at most . I do think we will see more of the top amateur guys come up here to Canada at the 16 or 17 year old stage , like Wilson did last year . I think it is a good move to get used the weekly grind of a pro series as well as gettting used to longer motos .

Nice find and post on the vid cynic.. Roczen looks so fast. I didn't know he started behind Musquin and Herlings. Ken looked like he's on another level. I like Herlings style. The kids laying it over every chance he gets.
It's going to be a great year. Here's to everyone staying healthy ans a great season. Only 6 hrs til moto 1..

wow southwick does look like a freeway campared to Lierop.

I have raced at southwick and it gets rough....I can't even imagine how hard that Lierop track would be to ride.
