Well, they just spent $95 Billion…but, it was “Bipartisan”. Which is nice.

Some folks are born made to wave the flag

They're red, white and blue

And when the band plays "Hail to the chief"

They point the cannon at you, Lord

It ain't me, it ain't me

I ain't no senator's son, son

It ain't me, it ain't me

I ain't no furtunate one, no

Some folks are born silver spoon in hand

Lord, don't they help themselves, Lord?

But when the taxman come to the door

Lord, the house lookin' like a rummage sale, yeah

It ain't me, it ain't me

I ain't no millionaire's son, no, no

It ain't me, it ain't me

I ain't no fortunate one, no

Yeah-yeah, some folks inherit star-spangled eyes

They send you down to war, Lord

And when you ask 'em, "How much should we give?"

They only answer, "More, more, more, more"

*Song by Creedence Clearwater Revival

Alright, you’re not concerned. Does the fact that Putin/Russia has taken over 19,000 children from Ukranian families concern you? Can you imagine the horror? The international criminal court has issued a warrant for Putin’s war crimes for abducting these children.

A sovereign nation was invaded. Think back when the US sent troops to Iraq after Kuwait was invaded. Supporting Ukraine with money and weapons is literally the least we can do.

I agree with part of your premise (1/2 premises…? Does that word have a plural?).

Yes, Putin is a modern world dictator come land grabber. But, this ain’t 1939 and there’s a whole different version of “Fuck around and Find Out” nowadays. Sadly, we’ve had 2 separate-but-very related administrations here, in the U.S.A., that Putin is obviously NOT afraid of…hence…on BOTH occasions…he marched into The Ukraine and took what he wanted.

You go on in a later post to reflect on one of the real horrors…Putin’s stealing…literally…stealing the children of The Ukraine. That’s hard to absorb, isn’t it? Shit…that makes one want to get his ass. But, we’ve just sat here…on our ass…during allllllll of 2021 when we knew all too well that he was preparing to roll across that border…AGAIN…Joe DID NOTHING.

At the very beginning…our leaders were told what the Ukrainians need to really go after the Russians and send them home…bleeding…but, no. We’ve watched as Biden and company have been doing a piss poor job…piecemeal…did we give them the anti-air assets early on…anti-missile…the F16s…?

No. We wouldn’t even let the Polish do it with their F16s…early on. Why? Well, ask Joe. He has a plan, supposedly.

Just like AFG: Joe’s plans spell F A I L.

Now…we throw billions here and billions there as this shit just drags on. Sad…but…true.

This should infuriate everyone in this Country....they're taking money out of our pockets and giving it to the rest of the world, all while intentionally destroying our homeland.  How about spending only on our Country and our people, whose fathers and grandfathers have worked hard or lost their lives to build such an amazing place for us to live.  How about shutting off the money faucet to ALL international spending and focus on putting a dent in our exorbitant debt problem??

We have all basically become slaves now in the sense we're being forced pay for foreigners..."work hard little Johnny, and we're going to take a large portion of your paycheck and give it to foreigners who have done nothing for you or this Country".  All at a time when we are at a boiling point with our own issues like homeless, lawlessness, mental health, shipping in the migrants, crumbling infrastructure, etc.  F*ck them!

If the one side doesn't wake up soon they'll find themselves looking down the barrels of those who are becoming more furious by the day. The jackasses who vote for this shit don't even realize they voted to become little slaves.

Be careful with your searches and internet analysis on this one. Just like when they tell us “XX% of that bill is coming back to us in weapons purchases” which they’ll add back in via a pre-distribution “adjustment”…or did ya think they don’t so shit like that…then there’s the various ways they break out foreign assistance spends up between defense, state, various UN debacles, foreign treaties outside the guise of these depts…like thru health and welfare…yada, yada, yada…how about monies given to foreign states/gob’s thru…Dept of Energy…yada, yada, yada…when it comes to this administration…how about the billions sent to AFG since 2021…?

I’m jus’ payin’ attention….so, go do a web search and tell us how it’s all just a “pittance”.

And to further the point that was being made previous to all that…

We’ve got plenty of shit that we could be fixing at home.

I’m jus’ sayin’…

ps-is it just me or do they damn near ALWAYS have to adjust the numbers -after the fact- when they tell us “the latest stats” on the economy?

US Federal Budget is roughly $6 trillion, foreign aid is historically roughly 1% of the total annual Federal budget, the departments who spend the other 99% are inefficient, giving them the 1% would not improve their performances and would not get the outcomes you want, better management by senior civil servants within each department would.

Let's clean up our own backyard. Secure border, lower healthcare costs (prescriptions, deductibles, surgery, improved VA hospitals and benefits), better senior services, improved infrastructure, hire more police officers, hire more air traffic controllers, build more prisons, incentives to manufacture products on U.S. soil, youth programs, stiffen laws and sentences for criminals (to include politicians), implement hangings for those on death row and drastically reduce waiting on death row, term limits on politicians, revamp procedures for government "appointed" positions, eliminate lobbyists, freeze investments of all politicians until out of office...

Whatever is left loan it to any deserving country. Vinny will stop by first of each month to collect!

Fuck the Russian government and Fuck the Ukrainian “government”. However I do stand with the working class people of both countries. No different from Americans or any other people, they just want freedom and prosperity.

Fuck nationalism and all governments and forms of hierarchy everywhere!

Also, fuck the American government as well. If you’re American then the biggest threat to you and your families health, wellbeing, and political/economic freedom is the American government itself!

I just don't get it, it infuriates me. Our country is dealing with massive inflation, average homes are the price of mansions, more people in their 20s-30s are moving in with family than ever before to help both sides deal with costs, California is becoming a 3rd world country with insane homelessness, businesses are closing up with the new minimum wage law along with major theft and crime. Unemployment rising, everything going to shit,  we're TRILLIONS in debt yet somehow have 100B to send to foreign countries?

If you knew someone who was already in massive crippling debt with their life falling apart, yet they grab a credit card to take out a massive interest cash advance just to give that money to a "friend", wouldn't you call them one stupid MF'er?  That's exactly what they're doing.

THIS.

Where's @ThatOneMxGuy to come tell us that we don't understand everything and that Sleepy and the Dems are doing GOOD things for us??

The part that concerns me is that you don’t see how we are just laundering money through Ukraine in the form of “aid” and you believe we are doing it for a good cause. I am tired of even discussing the bullshit this admin and both sides, left and right are doing to our country now..

Not Ukraine.. but add 2x Air Bases where billions were invested that will fall into Russian hands here shortly because the USA is getting kicked out of Niger..

I am all for staying out of other countries business especially in Africa / Middle East. But this shit with Niger makes me mad because American lives were lost, once again for no reason in a shit hole country where no one has the same ideals as the USA.. Hell our own .gov doesn't have the same ideals anymore.

Laundering money? Ah, the Putin propaganda being spread by our staunchest Russia supporters. They’re very good at it. The US provides military and humanitarian aid.
Absolutely we have many things our taxpayer dollars could and should be spent on. Supporting Ukraine isn’t mutually exclusive.

Concerned? Yes, not to the point that WE the USA are spending our tax payers dollars out the ass instead of taking care of the long list of issues here on our soil. As far as Putin taking other countries over? I listed off how many countries that would also combat Russia.

The part that concerns me is that you don’t see how we are just laundering money through Ukraine in the form of “aid” and you believe we are doing it for a good cause. So in the end I don’t feel we should be in Ukraine, and I do not feel we should be sending billions of dollars. They are a corrupt country being pulled by the American strings.

Despite our best efforts, we are not the worlds “police” and now more than ever we need to focus on ourselves

Absolutely we have many things our taxpayer dollars could and should be spent on. Supporting Ukraine isn’t mutually exclusive.

The US govt being accused of laundering money is now Russian propaganda? Oh. Got any more dumb shit to announce?

Go ask MTG or Tucker, a couple useful idiots that just picked this up from Russian social media, or they get daily talking points emailed to them, not important. Follow the bouncing ball, it’s easy!

If they are serious about this let’s see the proof? I’ll save you some time, it’s ridiculous. Just verbal diarrhea and some of it is clearly sticking to some.

I think most Americans would be a little bit more “on board” with this if there was a clear strategy on where the money, help and resources are going. We keep dumping money in Ukraine with no strategy on how they plan to push the Russians out, or where the peace treaty will be. It’s very similar to Afghanistan and Iraq by the end. We had no plan, no course of action, and no end goal for either war. Both were non winnable wars that just cost trillions in dollars, and thousands of US lives.

Everyone saying we are dumping money is just wrong, we send them the alleged $$$ in weapons and shit that our military industrial complex manufactures here. It’s just a fat stimulus for the military industrial complex like the other fat stimulus our government gives to corporations. That money then basically stays in America and gets spent (or stashed by the owner of Raytheon or Boeing)

not saying it’s right or what we should do but we aren’t just sending them cash… but the idea is that we are stimulating our own economy at the same time

So how about my local grocery store send me $1000 worth of food a month. That fat stimulus then stays here in America or gets spent (or stashed by Publix or Winn-Dixie). I love that I'll be stimulating the economy. Gotta run, I've gotta get my grocery list together.

Eskimo pies ✔️

Boars Head roast beef ✔️

French bread ✔️

If grocery stores sent everybody in America $1000 worth of food per month, that would be $4 trillion per year!
