Love his interviews. The guy has been out of racing for about 36-37 years and yet he would probably still draw the biggest crowd in the pits today. People love listening to him. Yamaha should replace RV with Hannah.
The "i'm offended" generation would flip it's shit if Hannah were around these days.
So true. I think it's the honestly that most people today appreciate because current riders are so dumbed down by their sponsors.

I’m 41 and had a Bob Hannah poster in my bedroom as a kid. My dad, grandpa and all their friends were fans. Listening to him today he sounds like the Trump of motocross. What would racing look like if he were in charge of AMA?

I would like just once for someone to give a podium interview the way Hannah used to. Not worrying about being so politically correct all the time and constantly b.s.ing about how wonderful the sponsors are would actually be a breath of fresh air. Man, I'd kill to hear how these guys really feel about the race and their competitors. The pure beauty of it is that Hannah didn't care what people thought then and surely doesn't now.
