It's actually Jean-Michel Bayle! He was here for 4 years. In 1991 he won the 250 SX Championship, the 250 National Championship and the 500 National Championship in the SAME year! He also won the 250 National Championship in 1992.

Not to mention he made it look easy. Real easy. The guy was the definition of smooth.

Nice fish you fuck.

JMB would make Pourcel look more out of control than RC as a rookie

Nobody here liked the fact that he could just come over here as a foreign rider and win. And he made it look easy at that. People would boo him badly. Real bad because it was a slap in the face to us... and maybe a wake up call. At that point in time, the American riders were considered the best in the world. There were no other good foreign riders riding over here.
He accomplished what he wanted to do in life and then went back home.
What would you do?

Probably the same. If I was ridiculed and booed I would not want to stay! That and i would probably miss hairy women.

Saw him several times, and met him too including the fateful day when he showed up at Gainesville in a white van. He is without a doubt the real GOAT. He did MX, SX, Moto-GP, as good as pretty much anyone, can kick ass on a trials bike, and rules at DH mountain biking. Who else can do this? Ever see his luge run on an MX bike? The guy flat out rules. Listen to the Stanton podcast for a little more insight on him

Speaking of Frenchmen, did anyone see the Frenchie get his ass rocked on The Ultimate Fighter and quit last night?

Classic!
