The charges aren’t a felony (otherwise Hillary would be charged with one, too), they’re an impossible hail mary by the prosecution that doesn’t stand a chance of holding up even in NYC.
You still don't get it, the charges are a felony, whether he is proven guilty of the charges is up to the jury.
You’re correct, he was charged with a felony, but that doesn't mean the act was. It’s trumped up because of the who, not the what.
First week will be mostly, if not all, jury selection. Over half were immediately dismissed when they said they can’t be fair and impartial. The defense and the prosecution will continue asking more in depth questions about their political views the rest of the week. The defense team, like they have for months, plans to delay and extend the trial as long as they possibly can.
